Just a reminder of how oppressive Islamic regimes can be. For disguising herself as a man, so she could sneak into a stadium to watch her favorite soccer team, she was arrested and was facing prosecution with a potential sentence of 6 months to 2 years in prison.

May she Rest In Peace. She may be the spark that sets the nation on fire like the street vendor in Tunisia that started the Arab Spring....................

Imagine giving up your life for a gay ass sport like soccer. I'd immolate myself if I was risking a sentence of 6 months watching soccer.

Either a mentally ill woman or an extremely brave one, maybe both. We’ll see how much of a nerve she struck, it might be that there’s an entire movement of women that have had enough....could get interesting.

Muslims and mental illness are closely entwined.

...I see your point and it’s a valid one but this young lady, as mentally ill as she CLEARLY was, gave her life up primarily for “principle”.
That part of her ACT was brave and noble and I hope most of us here on FR will respect her for that.

Why has FIFA allowed Iran to be a member of FIFA when women can’t attend games?

That’s a very good question. My guess, in part, is because there is so much Islamic nation money in world football.

There is nothing good about an islamic government run by the unholy Koran.

My guess, in part, is because there is so much Islamic nation money in world football. So bribery is OK so long it's done by a state ?
