Anchorage Daily News reports that Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has filed for divorce.
In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”

Sorry to hear this. But as everyone here married knows if it’s good it’s great if it’s bad it could be hell. I wish them both well for trying to do right by our country.

At our family gatherings we have to give up our phones until we leave. We also have a linen table cloth that everyone signs and dates. It’s pretty cool to see signatures of family that is no longer with us.

FR has started to sounds more and more like The Days of Our Lives rather than a political/cultural site. And that's being polite. What I really think is that it sounds more and more like the DUmmies.
If this were DU, you might have a case that my DIBS was ambiguous. But not on FR.
As a family, they have now spent decades being hounded, harassed, in the spotlight, and yes, he has had more than one serious accident, his son just beat him up, they have had problems with some of the girls, and then there is the usual stress when a family has a child with Downs! All of that stress would have crippled other marriages/families long ago!

Menopause probably played ZERO part in the Palin divorce! At 55, Sarah probably went through menopause long ago. You are ignoring all of the horrible things that they have gone through, as a couple and as a family, for decades, that would have torn apart most marriages long ago!
