House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced on Monday that his committee will vote this Thursday to officially formalize procedures to set up hearings to determine whether the Dem-controlled House will introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.
Nadler said in a statement on Monday that President Trump’s “crimes and corruption extend beyond what is detailed in the Mueller report.”

These hearings, with staff, lawyers, catering, janitors, a/v people, etc., are all on the taxpayer’s dime. They’re not going to present any articles of impeachment (they’ve got NOTHING) - it’s just a ploy to gin up negative headlines (the MSM’s bread and butter - they’ll be happy to oblige) and confuse voters. Spending taxpayer millions on Mueller’s fiasco just didn’t work for them, but wasting Other People’s Money (their drug of choice) is What They Do.
More misinformation and more voter fraud is all they’ve got.
The point is that the Democrat leadership is willing to drag the country through even more trauma and destruction than Mueller already has and also willing to destroy the Democrat Party at large to try to save the butts of a few high level individuals
Right or wrong, smart or stupid, good or bad has nothing to do with anything at this point. It’s all about a handful of very powerful, very guilty people trying desperately to save themselves without any consideration for the collateral damage they do in the process

Hard to say. Nadler has a primary challenger and he may just be trying to fend her off and then slip back to the center for the final.
Never forget that impeachment is a political process where the rules of criminal evidence does not apply. The high crime or misdemeanor will be whatever Nadler says it is.
Why isn't someone on the right fighting?
Michael Savage said last year "Nadler rose in some really corrupt areas of NY politics and has to have left evidence all over the place. Someone should get going on that and bring him to justice." (Paraphrased).
This is not a game for gentlemen with white gloves having afternoon tea and digestives together.

All of this impeachment talk is to try and build up trading equity so Trump will not declassify all of the evidence that implicates Obama, Biden, Hillary and Kerry in the Coup attempt.
Unfortunately for the Democrats, RBG is likely to die soon and Trump will replace her with Amy Barratt Coney, who will probably agree in a SCOTUS challenge that there must be an actual crime to invoke impeachment, laying waste to the “any reason” argument.
