That was the last time I watched “the Daily Show” with John Stewart.
It was pretty Obvious Viacom told all their lackeys to change the subject. Here was pure comedy that was off limits to the only political comedy show on TV.
You could make the EXACT memo your self... type a few sentences into Word 97 with default margins, convert it to pdf, print out the “official” memo from the CBS website.. hold your forgery up to the “official” 1972 version and EVERY FRICKEN LETTER LINED UP.
It would have cost the Daily Show 8 cents to duplicate what we all did, but they didn’t. Hacks.

I have always respected “Buckhead’s” posts and opinions. I’ve often wondered what his assessments of Trump would have been had he stayed on FR.

I moved to the DC area in 88. Subscribed to the Wash Post and the Wash Times. That difference was glaring!! One of my neighbors asked me why did I subscribed to Pravda on the Potomac. LOL.

In the cargo cult stuff just mysteriously appears--nobody actually created it with labor or capital.
Now if you lived in such a magical kingdom then of course sharing and caring is the only reasonable response--no-one created it so no-one should benefit more than anyone else.

The grocery stores full of an amazing variety of food is like magic.
Shopping on-line for an almost infinite variety of goods is like magic.

The "cargo" appears miraculously on the "island"!
All you have to do to get your share of the stuff is say the correct incantations (political correctness) so you can keep your job or remain in your social group.

Truly one of the most momentous examples of internet debunking of a major network news story ever done! Congrats and thanks to all who made it happen. Reading back on it again after all these years, it brings immense pride to me that a bunch of amateurs could take down a group of professional liars.
