We were all mentioning how tired we were. Everyone was dragging.
We got a new guy on Thursday. So far he looks like he will fit in. He’s young but has bookkeeping experience, and seems to catch on pretty fast. We will see.

You’re getting rain? GREAT! I hadn’t checked the radar tonight but just did and it looks beautiful. More rain south of you and heading up. And it looks like the fires above and below you are getting a good dose too. Be nice if the firefighters finally get a break.
It was a bit slow at the museum today but it was a lot of fun. I had a couple with their nephew and niece in tow first. It was their nephew’s birthday and he’d said he wanted to see the museum as his “present”.
The real fun was with the second tour .... two Army recruiters and they were a blast.
Yes, the new A/C unit was installed last week so it’s much more comfy in the front room now. It’s nice being comfortable no matter which section of the museum we’re in now.
I reckon y’all WERE mighty tired by the end of the week. Thank goodness it wasn’t a pay week since you were down one.
COOL that they have that new guy now. Just in time since a pay week IS coming up. I hope y’all were able to show him the ropes enough that he’ll be a big help next week.

Well we had a great time out at Comanche Lake yesterday. We to walk the beach and sit in the shade. We’ll be doing some more of that later today.
Sounds like a good day. If it’s still as hot there as it is here, sitting in the shade sounds like a good plan. LOL
