Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch in a newly released interview laments a lack of civility in the country while demurring on political questions involving President Trump.
Gorsuch told The Associated Press for a story published Saturday that Americans should remember that their political opponents “love this country as much as we do."

I am trying to think of something that would prove or even suggest that they love this country as much as “we” do and I can’t come up with a good example. Did he offer any proofs? I still remember when my former liberal daughter-in-law stated out of the blue, “I hate this country.” I think they are quite proud about hating America.

Some believe the Constitution (the document that binds us together) is a ‘charter of negative liberties’. The idea that Government as a force for good is in error. Government is Force, always has been and always will be. Therein lies the rub.
I wonder how a supreme court justice could form an argument (they love our country) knowing that it is not defined. Love means many things and is inappropriate for a rational discussion. If you use a word that is ill defined, rationality is no longer able to be used.

Understood, but when I took the oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, I knew what that meant. I didn’t need to go to law school to understand those words.

The only reason there is a lack of civility is because Democrats are sore f***ing losers. Political power is all they crave. If they are denied it they make everyone’s lives miserable in their pursuit to get it back. Next year it will be total mayhem as the RATs will go all out to steal the election. That’s the only way they can win!
