An American Airlines mechanic is accused of sabotaging a flight over stalled union contract negotiations.
According to a criminal complaint affidavit filed in federal court, Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani admitted during an interview Thursday that he tampered with a navigation system on the plane so that he could collect overtime work.
The plane, with 150 people on board, was scheduled to fly from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas on July 17. As the pilots powered up the plane at Miami International Airport, they saw an error message for a system that tracks speed, nose direction and other critical flight information and aborted the takeoff.

You stand in line and when it is your turn, you are questioned by someone who looks so deeply into your soul that you feel stripped and naked. Being a blonde, American woman who was excited to be in Israel, my questions were quick and succinct - name, purpose of visit, etc.,...
Others were not so lucky - some were denied boarding and some were led away.

Well, to be fair, recall the incident (in 1983) of Eastern Flight 855, which had all three engines fail soon after takeoff from Miami International Airport to Nassau. Pilots were able to bring the aircraft back to MIA without injuries but only barely.
Problem was caused by missing O-rings on all three engines; my recollection is that Eastern was involved in a contentious labor dispute at the time, but I can find no articles making this connection by means of Google.
Eastern filed for bankruptcy in 1989, chiefly as a result of ongoing labor-management problems under CEO Frank Lorenzo.
Also in 1989, Eastern sold its Eastern Shuttle to Donald Trump, who renamed it the Trump Shuttle.

Because of the diversity police Mohammed and others like him are able to secure jobs that should be of high security and severe background checks. They are fast tracked records altered so that because of their skin color, ethnic background and criminal record are given the all clear to avoid the diversity light to shine on any one company and open them up to bad publicity extortion and lawsuits.
