President Trump is showing very bad judgement on this one. Determining who has mental health issues and can't have a gun can't lead anywhere good. It's inevitable that at some point in the future (immediately in some places) this would be used for political purposes.
It will be used for search warrants for "suspicion of unauthorized gun ownership". At some point, everyone in an opposition political movement will be declared too crazy to own a gun. A "Catch 22" will follow: they'll say anyone who wants a gun is too crazy to own one.
It's the Brave New World, and I don't much care for where it's going.

No I am saying this is fake news and its disgusting how some react to it like Trump is stabbing you in the back. Take a pill. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has happened where Trump has gone against the constitution, the law, or the best interest of the people of this country. But people like you are ready to turn him out and let one of the dem assclowns run this country like the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

Are you drunk or just off your meds?Sounds like both. But there's a big BUT...if President Trump does support anti-second amendment policies, that raises questions among the freedom loving conservatives. This could be disinfo spread to cause dissension among the conservative ranks by the lyin' enemdia, though.
Maybe we can get Rush, Hannity or Tucker to ask him flat out.

Anyone who is judged to be incapable of responsibly owning a gun, should also be denied the right to vote.

HARPA would take after Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, which serves as the research arm for the Pentagon. The idea was first crafted in 2017 but has since gotten a renewed push after mass shootings killed 31 people in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, in August.
The Suzanne Wright Foundation approached the president recently and proposed the agency include a project called Stopping Aberrant Fatal Events by Helping Overcome Mental Extremes, or Safe Home, the report notes, citing two people familiar with the matter.
President Donald Trump has a close relationship with Bob Wright, who founded the foundation after his wife died of cancer. Wright was a former chair of NBC and occupied that position while the president hosted The Apprentice.
HARPA would develop breakthrough technologies with high specificity and sensitivity for early diagnosis of neuropsychiatric violence, according to a copy of the proposal. A multi-modality solution, along with real-time data analytics, is needed to achieve such an accurate diagnosis.

The following paragraph came from a powerline article about Hong Kong. Seemed appropriate to repost here...
Chinas model for ensuring prosperity and stability is well known. Rosett describes it accurately. Under Mr. Xi, Chinese communism is completing its evolution into a more economically efficient totalitarian system of techno-surveillance, brainwashing and the engineering of human behavior via a digital system of social credit, backed up by security squads, guns and detention camps.

Are you a Democrat?
If yes, Social Credit Score is -1.
Red Flag this person.
