Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to actress Alyssa Milano’s challenge for a meeting about guns as well as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, saying he’s more than ready to meet her.
“I’d be happy to sit down & visit next week about uniting to stop gun violence & about the Constitution,” he told the activist. “If we can have a civil & positive conversation—in the spirit of 1 Peter 4:8 as you suggest—despite our political differences, that might help resolve the discord in our Nation.”

Yeah, they come nicely displayed, but so over used that they probably don’t work properly anymore.
Personally, I see this as a colossal waste of time and energy. Senator Cruz would get more of an intellectual challenge debating my dog.

One of Alyssa Milano’s first movies in her teens was........how should I put it.....a very adult movie. Not for me to judge. But the funny part was her mother ran around to all of the video stores trying to get them to take the movie off the shelf.
Don’t like Ted, but I wish him luck on this. It’s in defense of the 2A, so I want him to succeed.
The problem is, not one single Leftist will change their mind. Not one!
Milano will bring up “feelings” arguments, and may actually sway some Republican women.
I doubt many Leftists will tune in. Milano and Cruz, not a big draw sports fans.
Milano will make a number of bold feelings based statements.
So the Leftist media will cut those sound bytes and make a professional looking spot that will sound like five to ten really powerful questions why we should have access to gun ownership.
Folks may be swayed by this.
There is no potential up-side here, as far as I can discern.
