Union auto workers voted, by a large majority, to authorize strikes while the United Auto Workers (UAW) union negotiates contracts with General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Fiat Chrysler. When I lived in Michigan my UAW neighbors all did pretty much fit the dictionary definition of "lemmings".

I haven’t bought a UAW-built car in the past 50 years, and I won’t in the next 50 years either. At least until they learn to put this country, and their companies, first - rather than simply let themselves be a branch of the Democrat party.

“Economy slowing so now is the political time to make it worse - of course.”

First thing I thought was the DNC gave UAW leadership its marching orders.

Voting to authorize a strike is far different that voting to strike.

The authorization simply allows a strike vote to take place if the contract is rejected.
