Evidence IS there, that the Deep State has steamrolled the Constitution, that there are exceedingly few people in Washington who have not sold their souls, and that the next Democrat victory in National elections will bring a totalitarian state to make Stalin and Mao look like choirboys.

You are correct.

The question then becomes whether this will be a blip or a permanently entrenched corruption. This is not a new idea. I read a book several years ago, written in the 1960s, by a former New York Times reporter who wrote essentially that it was important for the endurance of this nation to dispense equal justice under the law. A two tiered system is corruption, and this nation cannot long endure.

Burr ... a very very B I G disappointment. He allowed the hoax to go on in order to “let the process get to the truth”. Not that it has been exposed, he and his committee is silent. With friends like this who needs enemies?

-- I know there are allot of folks who "rightfully" doubt anyone will be held to account... --

It seems to me that "held to account" has whatever meaning each of us chooses to impute. It's a vague outcome.

I think these clowns are not stupid, they live, work and breath law enfrocement, and would have been careful to not commit an obvious, easy to prosecute crime. I doubt the FISA warrants have any outright lie in them. Misleading the poublic with flase inforamtion is not a crime . Lying about Iraq has WMD, for example, is not a crime. Certain parts of our government are way out of control, and Congress lacks the ability and the will to do a darn thing about it, except make empty promises and pass hollow legislation.

FISA was passed so the government would not abuse its snooping power. It has failed, and the coup against Trump is just one example.

-- There is simply too much out there to ignore. --

Whatever there is, the reaction to it will be mixed just like the election. The country is purely partisan, and the government is happy to oblige.

The “under penalty of perjury” was put in there to sell the American people and interested illegal aliens that FISA was necessary to prevent another 911 - that the government with its secret courts and secret agency actions never to see the light of day would protect us ... it was going to allow our protectors to get the terrorists before they could fly another jet into our buildings. ROFLMAO.

Now these same people want to take away your 1st, 2nd and a few other Amendment rights to protect us even more!

‘Evidence Is There’ for U.S. Attorney to Bring Criminal Conspiracy Charges...

Maybe so, but the newly-found rule of “intent” will be found by the meticulous, unbiased IG as missing, thereby preventing any charges from being levied...

We live under a two-tier Justice system. And that is the way it is.

Yep, there's only one thing that's gonna fix it and that's why we have the Second Amendment.

No charges will be filed. The Democratic Crime Syndicate controls the inappropriately named Department of Justice. Democrat minions never get charged.

There will be no indictments. Not if U.S. Attorney for DC, Jessie K Liu is involved. She’s the deep state’s biggest supporter and most important asset.

If it wasn’t her it would be somebody else. We are witnessing is The Resistance (TM) in action and it is certainly bipartisan in nature.

We will see. I would put my money on a domino effect. One person indicted, they turn evidence, the next..the next.

When it comes to a 6x9 cell...folks begin singing. I for one believe it will be very entertaining when the IG/AG reports come out.

FISA was passed in the wake of the Keith case, formally United States v. U.S. District Court, 407 U.S. 297 (1972)

The underlying event was bombing of a CIA office. The fact that the government had conducted surveillance without a warrant complicated the government's case.

Within this opinion are a few items worth noting. Two in particular:

Since FISA was passed in 1978, no FISA warrant has even been used in a criminal case. The entire FISA system is make-work for the purpose of fooling the public into believing snooping is effectively regulated by court oversight.

FISA creates a crime for activity SCOTUS views as a constitutional prerogative of the president. There is a good argument that the statute is unconstitutional because it criminalizes constitutionally-protected conduct.

Nunes is doing his job. He’s not in the DOJ.

Exactly. Nunes might be literally the only member of Congress who has personally risked his beltway career to support POTUS on Spygate. He became a huge target of the Democrats and Paul Ryan took him down to get him off the case.

He’s doing and did pretty much all he can. He’s one reason we made it this far. People like Gowdy dropped the ball though.

I saw Gowdy tap dancing around on Fox about a “two tiered justice system” if the coup conspirators skate. I believe he thinks his ship is coming in and doesn’t like it one bit. If he had supported POTUS instead of carrying water for Ryan in the midterms he wouldn’t be in this position. “Mr. President, if you are innocent, act like it” will no doubt be Gowdy’s political epitaph.

And a bigger issue is the senate committee. I think the senators are knee deep in this (Warner and the republican guy can’t remember his name). So they are blocking real work that can be done.

McConnell is knee deep it it as a member of the Congressional Gang of 8 bicameral intel committee. It’s been reported they were fully briefed by the Obama admin on Spygate. So in other words GOP leaders knew Trump was being spied on before the election and they didn’t do a thing to stop it.

The reason I'm having trouble is that I can't attach anything but minor criminal statutes to the actions of the coup team.

There are crimes for violent overthrow of government, but not for overthrow by mere lying to the public.

I've checked the several stautes that Gregg Jarrett has offered - and LOL. I did an education on Comey's memos, there might be a misdemenaor charge for "unauthorized disclosure of confidential information" 18 USC 1905.

There are all sorts of cases where prosecutors lied to courts to get warrants. The remedies against the prosecutors are not stiff. See Nifong for an example, and he got it relatively hard compared with the usual outcome.
