Comedian Kevin Hart and his driver suffered "major back injuries" in a car crash in the Malibu Hills late Saturday night, a report said.
Police sources told TMZ a Plymouth Barracuda belonging to Hart, 40, veered off the road on the Mulholland Highway.
The vehicle turned up in a ditch about 10 feet off the side of the winding road after it smashed through a wooden fence.
Hart was not driving at the time and his driver was not drinking, the report said.
The roof of the Barracuda was almost completely crushed in the crash.

Uh Oh, if the rear windshield broke, good luck trying to find one.
Guess that Monopoly movie ain’t happening.
You gonna burn, burn, burn, burn, burn it to the wick
Oooo, barra-barracuda
That was a nice car.
It’s not going to buff out.
Exactly.
Yeah says he was walking after the accident and his entourage got him and drove him to his home and THEN, later, to the hospital where they checked him out and he’s back at home.
This doesn’t sound THAT bad.
A not so funny foul mouth Trump hater. Trump curse strikes again. YMMV
He’s gonna need that for when speeding in reverse.
Often times that is said in jest. No need to get your panties in a wad over it though.
But speed probably played a part in it.
His homophobic tweets got him out of the 2019 Oscars.
Gay mafia took him out.
Nice car. Sorry he wrecked it.

The two-door has been heavily modified with shaved styling, carbon fiber body parts, a modern supercharged 6.4-liter Hemi V8 tuned to produce 720 hp, a lowered suspension, high performance wheels with foot-wide rear tires and a fully updated interior.”
I personally don't like the way they changed the silhouette. It does sound like speed was a factor in the wreck
Sad. “Major back injuries” in from a car crash is likely a very long road to recovery
Prayers up.
It doesnt sound that bad, but it could be a lot worse than he/they thought once he got checked out.
People have broken backs and not found out about it hours later on after muscles are relaxed.
As someone who's gone through back injuries, I can tell you that they are tricky buggers indeed - sometimes presenting fine, and sometimes leaving you in complete soul-crushing agony.
Those disks between the vertebrae and even damaged vertebrae themselves can shift around and impinge on nerves in variable ways. They also can change depending on the orientation of your body and with time.
