JOE SCARBOROUGH, MSNBC: And Rick Tyler, here we go with the Republican Party again, here in the state of Alabama, a state I know well and love, but you can go around the country and see the Trump effect on one Republican Party after another, and it is truly distressing all in support of a president who says he's going to seize private lands and told his aides to do it illegally and he would pardon them. From a president who ordering private companies to move out of other countries, a guy who's running up the biggest debt ever, some of the biggest deficits ever, and this is the guy that Trump Republicans are following over the cliff, politically.
RICK TYLER, MSNBC: Donald Trump has the single largest operating deficit in American history, and he passes budgets without really any negotiation at all, you know, this is what conservatives used to try to do, get a smaller more responsible, limited government. He's gone in the opposite direction of that. These tariffs, which he lies about, are taxes, they hurt the poor the most. When you start taxing food products at 25%, that doesn't mean anything probably to me and you, Joe. We could probably afford that. But it means a lot to a lot to people who can't afford, it is maybe the difference between eating today or not.
You know, on issue after issue after issue, what the Republican Party stood for, what it used to say it stood for, it doesn't stand for those things anymore. The Republican Party, as far as I can tell, is the Republican Party is gone, dead and buried and it is probably not coming back.

Trump is doing the ONLY politically palatable thing that he can which is to attempt to “GROW OUT OF” the debt. Increase the top line... revenue...to enable the US to pay unfunded liabilities. He it trying to shame the Fed into lowering interest rates because he knows that their artificially high rate compared to the other countries keeps INCREASING our debt. Trump administration policy is increasing American jobs and wages which continue to take more people off the dole and is driving down entitlements, a large source of our financial burden.
Don’t forget that during the Shut down the Border Patrol was not being paid and many on the left were trying to push as many invaders over the border during the shut down....
Given all the headwinds, I actually cannot remember a President who has accomplished more with such meager support from the rest of the political class...making Trump’s performance is astonishing.
I have never seen a person show such internal strength.
For all the nayaysers, please name one living politician who would have NOT caved under this pressure long ago....
I was born, and again after my 20+ year stent in the Army, living back in Sweet Home Alabama. This state is the #1 conservative state in America. It is the #2 Christian state, behind Ole Miss, who is also #2 in the conservative race.
I don't vote for parties any more. I vote for people. If there is no one worth voting for, I skip that race and move on down the ballot. No more voting straight republican/RINO. No more voting for the lesser of two evils. Because EVIL is STILL evil!!! I don't vote for evil or crappy candidates anymore. I vote for those that are at least close to the values that I hold and will never give up.
I don't care if the republican/RINO party is dead and buried. I don't vote them. Like I said above, I vote for people who are at least, near my values. I don't vote for scum anymore. Simple as that.

The “Republican Party” has been dead for years it was co-opted into the Democrat Party. The Democrats allowed it to keep its name and some members because we are a two party system and they wanted someone to kiss their asses in the House and Senate. Plus from time to time they needed a whipping boy to impress their sheep by trotting him out and scourging him before their eyes.
