U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- On 28 August, 2019, relatives of a former gun dealer called the police because they said, they were concerned the 72-Year-old man might be depressed and/or suicidal. I do not know if the man was suicidal or not, but old white men commit the largest percentages of suicides. They tend to use guns to do the deed. The police raided the house, on the authorization of the relatives. It appears to be a nice home in a nice neighborhood. Bustleton is home to many of Philadelphia's police officers and firefighters.
The wellness check turned into a full-blown media circus. Swat was called “to assist in clearing weapons.” The bomb squad was called. Hazmat was called. Why? Because the man involved, who had been a gun dealer, according to relatives, had a modest gun collection, some inert grenade bodies (easily and legally purchased), a smoke grenade (totally legal), some mercury (totally legal), and about a thousand rounds of ammunition. There definitely needs to be some means to let the police know when there are hostile familial relations.
That is, cousin Jack who lives nearby, is an alcoholic radical leftist Democrat, filled to the brim with hatred and bile at the gun owner. He is using this trick to “swat” his relative.
And while he can get away with it once, a court order that declares him a “hostile relative” will let the police know that he is not on good terms with the gun owner, so efforts on his part to “swat” should be ignored, or maybe turned against him for filing a false report.

Bingo. When I lived in Phily, I saw a street fight among relatives of a recently deceased neighbor, with furniture being thrown and a gun waved.
Of course, they were from a side street, but still...

Bustleton is northeast Philly; mostly white working-class, a lots of retired and current Philly cops, firemen, etc., and folks who just mind their own business and want to be left alone from Center City politics. Rowhomes, twins, duplex houses.
Political mix, about what you’d expect; I’d say half and half, maybe a little more to the conservative side, based on who lives there. My father in law lived there for quite a while.

I just disagree. Pedophiles, gay or straight, and there are plenty of each, are pedophiles. It’s really sick!
Demographically, the vast majority of them are straight.
