The Inspector General report on James Comey detailed the former FBI director’s misconduct at the agency, revealing he violated policy and set a “dangerous example” for FBI employees in his attempt to “achieve a personally desired outcome.”
While Comey misrepresented the report’s findings, and actually asked for an apology, even CNN called it “very damning.”

“The report itself is still very damning for the former FBI director," reports political correspondent Sara Murray. "It goes on to say that James Comey violated FBI policies in the way he handled, retained, and disseminated these memos."
She continued: “It says that Comey set a "dangerous example" for other members of the FBI, and it points out that he even had these conversations with President Trump about how important it is to keep investigatory details secret, and to not share information with the press and then essentially says he was a hypocrite for turning around and doing the same thing himself. It also includes a couple of select quotes from interviews they did with Comey’s advisers where Comey's advisers are telling the IG they were stunned, they were shocked, it was disappointment to see that this is how Comey had acted."
Perhaps Comey should read the whole report before claiming to be the victim.

I predict the narrative will do a 180 to supporting Comey again after a short time.

I just finished reading the entire 83 page OIG report.
My conclusion:
If Comey was that unprofessional about a few memos regarding his contacts with Trump, what about his work on other stuff during his tenure as FBI Director?
This OIG Report is only the ‘tip of the iceberg’ regarding the massive collusion/conspiracy within the Intelligence Community.
Just as Pres. Trump said Mueller’s Report ‘exonerated’ him because bottom line, there will be no prosecution, Comey will say the exact same thing about A.G. Barr.
Case closed.

If Hillary had won, none of this would have come into view, and Comey might well be AG.
And while in that position, everybody in Congress would be thanking him for his service and patting him on the back for all his hard work and acrifice.
Keep that in mind as you watch Congress thank other members of their government creation.

Doesn’t matter. Comey will never be prosecuted. And even if Barr blows my mind and tries to prosecute him, all it takes is one Democrat on a jury to give an OJ verdict.
But we are at a point now, the negotiated settlement of the end of the coup is taking place.. the public will be told that’s the Russia conspiracy was a fake. Some people will get a scornful ladder. And none of the plotters will be prosecuted in return. AG Barr is there to administer it
