DOJ had already announced that they wouldn’t prosecute, so not news.
If it wasn’t a big deal the coup plotters wouldn’t be trying to bury the news on a Labor Day weekend.

Exactly - the final line of the conclusion reads as such:
“The OIG has provided this report to the FBI and to the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility for action they deem appropriate.”
Nowhere does it say Will Not Prosecute.
I do see constant references to violation of FBI policy and violations of his employment contract and to my disappointment, no references to violations of the law.
There are certainly penalties for violation of his non-disclosure agreements and there have been cases in the past where ex-agents were penalized for writing books without approval by the FBI. I admit to not remembering the details.
I doubt that this is the last we will hear of Comey.
Remember the matter of the FISA warrants is still in process and there were clear violations of the law involved. The unresolved question in that matter is who can be held responsible for the violations.
Remember that regardless of the outcome, if we are to be nation of laws, only the lawbreaker can be jailed. Even if Comey is totally evil but managed to commit evil acts without breaking the law, there is no way to put him in jail.
So now the DOJ and FBI will bear the responsibility of determining whether he did break a law for which he can be prosecuted.
After seeing Trump’s Fed picks and ONI pick torpedoed by the GOP Senate it became crystal clear to me that the Senate was/is never going to confirm a MAGA AG. Without a doubt Barr is a Deep State tool.
