Councilman Argues Power Washers are Racist, Since Hoses Used Against Blacks in Past
Seattle has a human feces problem on their streets and sidewalks. But the city council cannot agree on how to remove the crap.

Councilmember Larry Gossett says power-washing the sidewalks bring up images of using hoses against civil rights activists.
The Seattle News reported:
Some committee members expressed concern about addressing the symptoms of the area’s problems without getting to the cause. Councilmember Larry Gossett said he didn’t like the idea of power-washing the sidewalks because it brought back images of the use of hoses against civil-rights activists.
Another council member, Claudia Balducci, suggested that the county consider using social-service employees in partnership with police.
I suppose arresting the ones who crap on the sidewalks is completely out of the question.

The fine citizens of Seattle voted in these politics and policies. They are simply reaping what they sowed.
Get rid of the homeless and the crap situation will go its own way without much help.
This place, and others like it, need a total and complete overhaul!

How about having people getting down on their hands and knees with scrub brushes and buckets? Nah, they would look like washerwomen and many of them were black in the plantations of the south. Can’t have that.
Or they could let the poop dry to dust and then broom it off the sidewalks. Nah, they would look like the black stable hands that shoveled out the horse poop. Can’t have that, either.
It’s a conundrum. I guess the best thing they can do is leave the poop where it was deposited and that way nobody is offended.
I wonder if this idiot would complain about firemen using real fire hoses to put out a fire in his home. If hoses are such an issue for him, why doesn’t he try to disband the fire department?
