This weeks widespread media blitz heralding Netflixs broadcast of its first Obama-endorsed presentation, American Factory, was more than synchronicity. It felt as though US publicists and journalists collectively exhaled their relief at finally regaining the bully pulpit.
Reviews of American Factory, a doc by indie veterans Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, were not reliable accounts of the films quality. Its lack of focus following a Chinese manufacturers takeover of a former General Motors plant in Ohio a move that fails to relieve working-class anxieties but, instead, predicts job-market doom didnt faze flacks and reviewers. The media class saw Reichert and Bognars facile, generalized survey as a chance to take on President Trumps trade policy; many jettisoned film critique to try their hand at economic and moral analysis instead.
Those in power have usurped the old bromide speaking truth to power. They now speak rhetoric to the masses.

Obama is just a spokesperson; the public face for the faceless international cabal of anti-Americans who snuck him into the oval office.
So glad I dropped Netflix. The minute I heard they hired Odungo, I was on the phone to drop it. The young man on the other end of the phone told me they’d received LOTS of calls cancelling due to Odungo. Is Netflix trying to stay in business, or are they getting their money from leftwing groups simply to provide a platform for the likes of Odungo and other odious people who should not be alive.

If they wanted to make China look favorable, they failed-demonstrating once again how out of touch they are with normal people.

Has been for a long time, actually.

Careful! You could wind up on the Nut-Job Conspiracy ping list with me!
Netflix is doing politics. We dropped them then too.
Dropped Netflix a few years ago. Haven’t missed it a bit. Now that I know that it’s a propaganda platform for Osama Obama et al I won’t be coming back...even if they paid me.
I dropped them for that reason. They asked me why I cancelled. I told them I am interested in good movies not political propaganda. The representative assured me she would pass that along to management. I'm sure that happened.
OHIO PING!
Please let me know if you want on or off the Ohio Ping list.

True An Empty suit. Barorschach Obama - seeing what you want.
This is simply not true.
I visit NetFlix constantly and have seen absolutely 0 Obama pollution.
There is far more very good TV out of china than there is Obama stuff.
Its really about the leadership more than the content.
Leftism, on TV? Say it isn’t so!
Also I’ve seen this show before. It was called “Gung Ho”. It was in the 80s and b.c stars Michael Keaton.
Obama-endorsed you know it can’t be any good.
