A New York Times staff meeting transcript shows the rot of bias at the Times is far beyond the pale and there is no hope of recovery. The Gray Lady is dead, her homicide an inside job.
Ringleader is executive editor Dean Baquet, who fires the fatal shot into the credibility of his paper.
By giving reporters and editors license to try to stop Donald Trump from becoming president Baquet helped unleash the hatred that is tearing America apart. Never before has a single media institution played such a destructive role in the nations life.
The meeting shows Baquet is now determined to destroy the president by painting him as a racist.
Baquets idea for stopping Trump: "How do we cover America, thats become so divided by Donald Trump? How do we write about race in a thoughtful way, something we havent done in a large way in a long time? That is the vision for coverage for the rest of the next two years.
This isnt journalism. Its political activism aligned with Democrat talking points.
The meeting was held after the headline Trump Urges Unity vs Racism didnt convey a sufficient dose of Trump hatred, so Baquet had it rewritten to criticize the presidents remarks after shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
Those asking questions, supposedly straight news reporters and editors, are unrestrained in demanding their partisan opinions dictate coverage.
One sees racism and white supremacy being the foundation of this country. Another asks, What is the overall strategy here for getting us through this administration?
Not once does Baquet say reporters should not be expressing partisan opinions.
Failure of anyone to recognize the approach violates historic standards of fairness and strict separation of news from opinion speaks volumes about how low the Times has sunk.

Okay, four now. But one is enough.
I just don't think we need four pictures of this idiot to make that point.
An attempt at intimidation during a public sector job
interview? Sounds swell.
We know how dumbass all the latterday identity politics
are, that now terms like colored people and Orientals were
used as neutral descriptors are now phrases that anger,
meanwhile whites can be called and accused as anything
under the sun
Lets make everyone take dna tests and publicly display
their racial purity and get any social preference only if
you have no white bloodline. That will save the taxpayers
trillions.
Just curious though what was the context in which black
and Mexican was used so many times and so
objectionable ? We know the
half white (er European American) purple lipped rat eared dogeaters America was racist and self-hating to the core
The Grey Lady has for some time now been The Old Gray Whore, a bodello for presstitutes
Dunno. I find it illuminating that his mouth is open in every photo. Does he ever stop laughing or talking?
Or do you? We used to play the Kim’s game in the army. You’d take a bunch of objects and such and have a few seconds to look at them. The more details you had the better. You’d do some physical activity and come back and recall it all. The more information one has, the more success you have. Intel is great.
He was explaining issues and motivations with each group. He was admonished to use the word “Hispanic” instead of Mexican by the superintendent, by the way.
“”if Americans are so dead inside that they re-elect President Obama,””
That’s a weird statement for someone to make who would have been in FAVOR of reelecting that bum...
It was people “dead inside and outside” who put that creep into office to begin with.
Are “people of color” colored people ? Asking for a friend.

Thats an interesting chart, showing how the Clinton voters were almost criminally misinformed (or uninformed).
Unfortunately, even Fox is turning left. Maybe OANN can fill in the gap.
As a teenager growing up in South Florida in the 70s, I came in contact with very few pretentious left-wing types. Most kids were into either Disco or Hard Rock. Regardless of their taste in music and fashion, it seemed like everybody just wanted to have a good time and try to do something with their life.
When I moved to New York in my early Twenties, that was my first contact with smug left-wingers. I had a visceral dislike for the writing style of both the New York Times And The Village Voice, with the Voice being a snarkier and more vulgar version of the stuffed shirt Times.
Funny thing is, the only part of the Village Voice that I liked was the sports page that routinely took mediocre New York athletes and coaches to task with ruthless sarcasm. By contrast, the New York Times sports section was so formal, they were referred to athletes by refrrring to them as “Mr. Ewing” or “Mr. Strawberry”!
Living in a deep blue City made me realize that I was a Conservative at heart.
The nypost needs to investigate the surge in New York Times 'digital' subscribers... were they paid for in advance by George Soros? Kind of like when Arabs pay people to sit on on corrupt American's 'speeches' - often people who can't speak or understand English?
If other papers had similar surges in digital subscriptions it's probably OK - but if they didn't someone might be buying influence.
Time to check it out. Who What When Where Why and How... Let's find out how corrupt the New York Times is... The public has a right to know - AND advertisers have a right to know.
She must be a powerful woman. She got him to close his mouth...
Lots of gay men have ‘beards’.
