Country and pop singer superstar Taylor Swift vowed to become more political earlier this year, which left many "Swifties," as her fans are called, wondering how she would go about doing that. It turns out, being more political simply means kowtowing to the leftist mob and being anti-Trump and showing support for abortion.
Ahead of her newly released album, Lover, Swift sat down with The Guardian to discuss her newfound political agenda. In short, she said she has become disillusioned with America and its values. This s particularly due to President Donald J. Trump and Republicans, she said.
She claimed Trump won the election because "all the dirtiest tricks in the book were used and it worked."She also lamented current political discourse, saying that Trump supporters are really "gaslighting the American public into being like, 'If you hate the president, you hate America.'"
"Were a democracy at least, were supposed to be......

Madonna became beholden to her remaining fanbase, the aging queens. Everyone else has moved on.
Taylor wants to outlaw autocrats and semi-autocrats
and even bolt operated crats.
Come and take them airhead!
So her music is not that great in my book but she seems like a perfectly nice person and Im sure good actress. I have a feeling the wokeness has something to do with insecurity being lily white in an of color industry dominated by political correctness.
And for the record Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston...Janet Jackson and Toni Braxton sang/sing WAY WAY WAY better quality songs than anyone producing stuff now.
And
Selena > Selena Gomez
I personally expected this years ago when Taylor Swift began palling around with Lena Dunham.
Song-writing quality in general has declined - as has movie screenplay writing. The Brill Building is of the past.
As for singing itself, Auto-Tune has had an insidious and deleterious effect. Carey and Houston are the real deal. Many, or most, modern pop singers would not survive on stage or in the studio without artificial compensation.
I sing a cappella: It has to be real: real tone, real pitch.
P.S.
Do you know George Barth (Stanford)? He was a piano instructor of Condoleezza Rice, as I recall. Very nice, humble man. We both used to volunteer as bass ringers in a Catholic choir. (I am not Catholic; he is.)
Thank you for that post.
She is still young enough to be confused politically. Allllll her friends are lib. It can be very difficult even with more maturity. Very hard to buck the community. Easier to be deeply closeted.
Indeed, that would have been cool.
I remember when I was living alone in Astoria Queens, I found a cat and named it Boy-Boy.
My sister (RIP) visited and said it sounds too much like Madonna’s “Boy-Toy”.
I told her that’s nothing because soon Boy-Toy won’t mean a thing. After a year or two when she visited again, she said I was right.
Tay Tay has doubled down on full Tard Tard.
I named the cat Boy-Boy after a Mohawk Indian called that, who got killed on a construction job when a steel beam fell on him.
When I worked with him he helped me buy a large 27inch TV from a guy in a shop he knew (got a good deal).
Today I have a 65inch 4K HDTV.
My daughter has a toy poodle.
R.I.P.
Yep. It feels contrived and phony. I'm sure many of her fans see right through it.
JAMAL!!!
Yeah I NEVER liked her. Her stupid songs, stupid words, obsession with exes and now her constant need for attention are showing in her political comments.
I wish she would just go away, she doesn’t even have to be mad.
I never listened to her music (what I heard them played in other ways, found them to be annoying). I did, however, find her to be quite physically attractive. It’s a shame she turned out to be a REAL Nazi as Camille Paglia alluded to.
Dear Taylor Swift, You and I are never, ever, ever getting back together!
A former fan.
