President Donald Trump wished Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg well after learning that she has went through treatment for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas.
The president said that Ginsburg, 86, is “strong” and “very tough” while speaking to reporters outside the White House on his way to leave for the Group of Seven (G-7) summit in France.
“I hope she does really well. And our thoughts and prayers are with her,” Trump said.
“I’m hoping she’s going to be fine,” he continued. “She’s pulled through a lot. She’s strong. Very tough. We wish her well.”
On Friday it was announced that Ginburg has completed three weeks of radiation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The treatment included the insertion of a stent in Ginsburg’s bile duct, according to a statement by the court.
In December of 2018, Ginsburg had surgery to remove cancer from her left lung. She has also beat colon cancer in 1999 and pancreatic cancer in 2009.
Doctors said that the cancer has not spread to other parts of her body.
President Trump has already appointed Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. He has said that he will “absolutely” nominate someone if there is another opening available in 2020.

It's time for Republicans to start demanding she step down. Clearly, she is incapacitated and the fact that we're just hearing about this latest episode is a scandal in itself.

My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about this time last year... she was gone within a month.
I wish her well too. Liberals beclowned themselves with their vile attacks on Koch.
The only plus side of this is that if Ginsberg finds out that Trump has wished her well and good health, SHE WILL DIE TO SPITE HIM.

My 91 year old father was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago.
Went in for his first radiation treatment and declined rapidly after.
Passed in 2 months.
Radiation is tough on fifty somethings let alone 90 somethings.
We will have a new justice before the election next year.

I had radiation for four weeks, mild case of breast cancer. During that time I was recovering from a major break of my right ankle. Rough few months. I’m 71. But I walk a mile a day and work 1-3 hours a day on our farm.

Thirty or 50 years ago she would be dead from this round, more than once, because the detection results were not as good as they are today.
I can say that because I should probably should be dead twice from blood clots, and blind due to cataracts. Modern science and modern medicine really is a "miracle".
Think of all the future children who will live because she goes off the court and another justice replaces her, and Roe v. Wade is overturned.
