Sacramento Woman Forced To Move Business Due To Homelessness Issue

California is quickly turning into a hell hole, if it hasn't actually earned that status yet. The areas that are particularly hit the hardest by state and local policies have been the cities of the Golden State. Look no further than this latest story out of Sacramento. A salon owner of 21 years recently had to move locations, not because of lack of sales or increased property taxes, but because the homeless population is simply out of control.

"I am angry about it as well. I wouldn’t be relocating if it wasn’t for this issue," Elizabeth Novak told Fox & Friends recently.

"When I come into work, I’m never sure what I am going to walk into. I’ve been broken into, I've had my glass broken, I clean up human excrement off of my doorstep every week, cups of urine, things like that," Novak said in a now-viral post.

"I have to fight off people to push their way into my shop, and are homeless and on drugs because you don’t wanna arrest people for drug offenses," Novak said in the video directly addressed to California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

"I have compassion, I love these people, but I’m not able to work at my business any longer," the business owner added.

"A lot of people are saying it’s a housing issue. It’s a drug issue,” Novak told Fox & Friends. "I’ve spoken with a lot of law enforcement in my area and they all have the same answers. Their hands are tied, they can’t arrest them, and a lot of people think arresting won’t do much and it definitely will."

Novak's video can be seen here:

If you develop some manners I’m open to discussion.

I have plans to “Bail!”

Well have a great time in Florida. The weather is nice.

You do not want to come to Texas, too damn hot and sticky.

Then you have to fight off the mosquitoes. And the deer ticks are really bad every year.

Then we get all the smoke from landowners burning their cow pastures and the cow turds giving off a horrendous odor and smoke when burning.

Oh and did I tell you that gas is going for about $2.50/gallon. Places down to $2.30. Means you can drive across this great State running from the heat and mosquitoes

And jobs. Out the jazoo. Everywhere you turn someone is hiring and paying a decent wage. More money to buy Off with.

Did I mention, no State tax

It's not "Homelessness."

The problem is DRUG ADDICTS.

By refusing to even define the problem, the cities of Portland, San Francisco, LA, Sacramento, Seattle, and the rest can whine and talk about "compassion for the homeless" while they put their hands out and ask for more money to "combat homelessness."

The problem is DRUGS - something liberals are LEGALIZING and encouraging now in many states and cities.

You are correct. The problem is that much of America’s infrastructure was put down by the 60s and has been neglected since then.

When I compare JFK, Newark or Chicago or Atlanta with Dubai, HK, Singapore or even Frankfurt or Paris, the American airports are way, wayyyy behind — even behind Mumbai and Delhi (notable exception being Cincinnati)

I understand the history of stupidity when it comes to maintaining firebreaks in California, and the devastation that comes when you don’t.

My comments about bringing up the drug house laws isn’t quite communicated right; it is the people suing the cities/counties/etc for failure to stop such activities on the streets and seizing the value of such public property in a court judgment for that failure. Use the bad law against the cities/counties/etc that passed them, for illegally giving the public properties to private parties for illegal purposes.

“I could tell by her comments that she is a good lefty and has never voted for anyone but a Rat.”

I red the timeline on her FB page. She is a conservative and very strong Christian.
