Last week my son and I tried some Tacos from Burgerking. Never again
Social Justice isn’t about justice.
Social Work isn’t about work.
Social Studies isn’t about studying.
On the plus side toilet paper companies likes fake food idea.
Increased sales ensue.
I eat eggs made from plants.....we feed left over veggies to our chickens....does that count?
If you want eggs, then git you some chickens.
It’s really that easy.
If there’s no chickens, then git you some ducks.
AOC probably doesn’t even know that people can git them their own egg makin’ animals.
Well, EGGPLANT.
Duh.
The “progs” are taking us back to the Stone Age. Twigs and grass clippings. Yummy.
I love the smell of bean farts in the morning...like napalm.
Next: getting rid of humans for farting climate toxicity or just because they are evil...the ones without the clipboards anyway.
Don’t these plant-based faux-foods require far more labor & raw resources to produce than the real thing?
So aren’t they far more negatively impactful on the environment?
It’s the irony that’s gonna kill us.
Years ago, there was a company in San Francisco that was working on a plant-based version of eggs. They had Andrew Zimmern on the show.
Visually, they looked like scrambled eggs. Maybe not quite as yellow as scrambled eggs typically appear. He tasted them and said they were getting close - but weren’t there yet.
Would I try them? Yeah, Maybe once or twice. But if cost is an issue and regular eggs are cheaper (and taste better), I’ll stick with eggs.
Yeah, heard an ad for this the other day. Now appearing at Kroger affiliated stores. Woo Hoo! No clucking way! Did your son try the unpossible burger too?
We have for years been warned about eating “highly processed” foods. Just how highly processed is fake eggs made of vegies!
And why do they try to make them taste like eggs. If I want eggs I will eat EGGS, not some fake immitation.
Same for beef.
If they can convince the public to spent big bucks on bottle water, they probably can get the public to believe this is healthier than real eggs.
Can you imagine how much processing and artificial stuff needs to be done to this crap? But they will sell it as healthier than eggs and MUCH KINDER TO THE CHICKENS.
Sunny side up or over easy (if on a sandwich). Either way, my egg gushes with warm yolk on that first bite. Pretty sure they can’t manufacture that. So, yeah, sorry... I’m out.
Why do they keep trying to make their veggies look like something they refuse to eat. I don’t make my meatloaf look like a carrot. (I do like carrots).
Stone Agers ate meat.
“Burger King” and “tacos” are words that just don’t go well together at all, no matter what’s in that shell. ;)
Me, I don’t have a problem with all the plant-based stuff. I like some of it and meat is sometimes an issue for me (don’t like “Impossible”, but love “Beyond”). But... Eggs? Really? That’s like the perfect food! This one I’ll pass one!
They *should* be working on making square eggs so they’re easily stackable (thank you, Carl Barks, for the best idea ever)!
I haven’t tried the Impossible Burger yet but let me know when they get around to the short ribs.
Pretty sure they cant manufacture that.
Oh yeah? Read the fine print...Yolk sold separately
in individual packets, or buy the bulk size, Just Yolk.
Sorry, I’m just yolking.
