The law of unintended consequences rears its ugly head. I wasn't a prophet when I predicted things 9 months ago when Trump first talked about a precipitous pullout from Syria. Our allies in the region know we're running towards the exits. If we don't keep a stabilizing force in there, what's the answer? Whack 50,000 kids in this camp? I'm sure some idiot on here will propose that. Counterinsurgency (Coin) strategy and implementation is not new to the post 9/11 world. It's been done before and yes it's a long process. The Marine Corps did this in the first part of the 20th century in the Dominican and Vera Cruz Mexico among other places.

And now we have the Obama foreign policy wing speaking out. Yes, that worked out well the first time with the birth of ISIS.

Take your stupid ass to Syria.
No ragheads are good ragheads.
We’ve been at war for 18 years.

I agree. All captured ISIS should be executed. Including any of the women shown to be involved in the IS repression. Not the unwilling slave-wives of course. Also, execute the IS children who acted as little killers. They will never be normal people. Better to just eradicate them from the fabric of humanity. ISIS was a special case. Better to totally eliminate any and all we catch. Zero mercy. Then go on from there.
Fill the mass graves, cover them up. The same treatment they meted out to others.
Oh yea, burn and drown some. Send a message

Over the last 15+ years the U.S. has deliberately and recklessly destabilized the countries where ISIL now exists. Syria is a sovereign nation that was perfectly capable of dealing with this sh!t before the globalist pr!cks who have overseen U.S. foreign policy armed and financed an insurrection in the country.
ISIL is now making a comeback because the U.S. is leaving? Cry my a river.

Both of which are **** holes today in spite of the valiant efforts of the USMC. If we are really concerned about this group bomb them until theyre all dead women, kids, and goats included.
Not one more American boot or drop of blood.
Not one.

Somehow leaving contingency forces somewhere always leads to a LOT more guys being sent.
Not this time.

Why do some such as this article, call ISIS by the acronym ISIL? Obama used to call them ISIL. But most people I’ve heard refer to them as ISIS.
I thought Obama wanted to singularize himself by calling them ISIL. He pronounced Pakistan as “Pock-ee-stan” for example. He also pronounced “Koran” with a distinctive Arabic inflection which very few Americans would use.

War Is a Racket by Smedley Butler. Perhaps youve heard of him?

You have some proof of this of course. There was some CIA conspiracy or something and it wasn't just an outcropping of the revolutions that popped up all across the middle east in Egypt, Oman and Bahrain etc... They called it the Arab Spring as I recall. Did the CIA finance all of these?

The article you linked was published on Canadas National Post website, but it was originally from the Washington Post. Predictably, it was nothing more than the globalist propaganda I would expect from that bag of sh!t media outlet with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-Saudi Arabia) serving as the authors primary source.
Dont post that slop here and expect to be taken seriously. That nonsense should have ended when Yeb Bush and his shadow Sunni Muslim campaign dropped out of the 2016 race with something like 3 delegates.

Yes, I've even read the book (War is a Racket). Would you like my copy to read?
To: Dilbert San Diego
Actually ISIL is a term of respect versus ISIS so naturally Obongo gave them what they wanted by referring to them as ISIL.
To: Old Teufel Hunden
The only good ISIL terrorist is a dead ISIL terrorist. Cruz missile time and any collateral damage to their next generation of terrorists is justified. Go big or stay home!
To: EEGator
A well placed MOAB would solve the problem.

I don’t care how these savages see fit to govern themselves.
It’s none of my business, and I don’t want any more blood or treasure expended on sorting them out.
