A crowd outside a Philadelphia home taunted police as they battled an AK-47 wielding gunman accused of shooting six of their officers and holding another two hostage on Wednesday.
The man finally surrendered after a dramatic standoff that lasted nearly eight hours.
'A major moment of disappointment this evening was watching a crowd of people taunt police officers, laughing and yelling at them in the midst of the gunfire,' tweeted CBS3 reporter Alexandria Hoff early Thursday morning.

(I watched a lot of this (while reading a book) and I wondered immediately why they just didn’t fill the place with tear gas and stop the incident....which is what happened, in the end, many hours later. Why draw it out, get officers injured and risk an Amish riot?)

Those oxygen thieves are the first to squeal like the pigs they are about any slight or “disrespect” but expect & demand that the police protect them from themselves as they murder each other like it’s a sport.

I’m very glad that I do not have to work in, live in or visit in any way any of the Democrat shithole cities in America.
This is the kind of thing that causes me to think a “CWII” is in our future. It won’t start everywhere at once, with a formal “declaration”, but could start in just this kind of setting/event, and then spread. The Antifa sorts might seize such riots as an opportunity for armed conflict. What we’ve seen so far is that the police often “stand-down” in such situations. When citizens step in and start returning fire to protect themselves and their property, things could get very, very bad.
And they call that section “Nicetown”? Not so NICE.
