PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police were responding to an active shooting scene in the city's Tioga section. There was word that possibly two officers were shot. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. One officer has been shot in the head and is listed in critical condition while another officer was shot in the arm. No word on the other officer's condition at this time. Both were taken to Temple University Hospital.

NBC10 reports that an officer is barricaded inside the building.
Officers are warning bystanders in the area:
If you can see US, the shooter(s) can see YOU. Move back. Move out of the way.
KYW 1060 all news radio reported about 20 minutes ago that the six wounded officers were all in stable condition but that there are still two officers pinned in the building with the suspect(s).

“Update: 2 PPD Officers who were in house with shooter have been safely evacuated by PPD SWAT. Suspect is still armed and inside house. Continue to avoid the area,” a police spokesman tweeted at 9:36 p.m.
If the suspect is the only one in the house time to give it the MOVE treatment!
