It's a simple question. But I haven't heard it asked.
Now that he's (supposedly) dead, can the information on his tax returns be used by investigators and/or made public? I assume that he probably had to include his sources of income if he did file tax returns.

If ithat is the case, and if other corporations funded it, probably there is no tracing the honeypot payments.
Did he file? Of course he did. There’s no way to make as much as he did and escape the eye of the IRS, if that’s what you mean. He was likely audited at least once in the past ten years. Did he have enough legal deductions to avoid making any kind of payments? I doubt it. Is any of it directly related to his crimes as a pedophile? Probably not.

That really should not be allowed. Tax laws need to address that.

oh sure the IRS can produce a “tax return” for each if need be...but the cycle of skimming congressional foreign aid/grants/bailouts/ into offshore accounts is relatively untraceable and unreportable
He held property around the world and knew how to hide his assets. By the time his lawyers got through with his taxes, the government probably owed him.
