The Washington Post, owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, who is also the CEO of Amazon, released an editorial this week blasting the enforcement of national immigration law as “cruel” and said U.S. businesses should not be deprived of employing illegal alien workers.
In an editorial in the Washington Post, the editors wrote that the recent raids on seven Mississippi food processing plants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were “cruel” and “pointless” despite arresting and identifying 680 illegal workers, including more than 200 who had previous criminal records. About 300 of the illegal workers arrested were released that same day on “humanitarian grounds.”

We have a dear friend who worked at Amazon. This Monday she quit. It was like torture, constant pushing to up the count of items she processed. Torture. Agonizing torture. She’s a minority of color, a legal immigrant and a US citizen.
Hey Bezo, how about giving your people a reasonable wage and a pleasant place to work. You won’t need illegals then. You are making some good ‘bucks’.

A liberal friend pointed out that with all these poor illegals being taken in, not one single wealthy business owner was arrested.
I can’t say that I would have a problem if some of the owners that keep hiring illegal’s spent a few days in a cell.
I see plenty of able bodied people with signs on street corners both black and white who say out of work, will work for Food. So there are people who would fill those job openings.
This is exactly the same argument that democrats made for slavery.

Look for some “friendly” visitors from ICE.
No, what they need is to follow the law just like the little people.
If so, do it the old fashioned way: register them as guest workers when they enter and register them when they leave.

Please try and have sympathy for poor Jeff. Imagine the horror for him if he could only afford 5 yachts instead of 10? Having to ante up and pay a decent wage to attract American workers instead of cheap labor would be a terrible burden on him.

But Mexican companies are being deprived of being able to hire illegal Americans. And so are Canadian companies.
Employers of illegal aliens need to do some prison time. Bezos.
