Anonymous source is BS. It gives just as much ‘cover’ to the so-called journalist as it does to the informant.

1) The journalist can seek multiple sources, promise them all anonymity, and then just write the article according to the source that best conforms to what they want to write.

2) The source could be entirely made up

3) The source could lie completely knowing he/she will be anonymous

Just watched WACO TV Series now on Paramount TV. Not FBI finest hour, by any means. Day One, FBI 75 member Swat team, shot first, killing the dogs. The they shot indiscriminately into a building containing women and children. ( Even after they were warned that they had lost the element of surprise.)

Day 51, FBI used tanks to inject flammable gas into the buildings, including a brick shelter where all the women and children became trapped. The show listed ten instances where injecting gas resulted in a huge fire.

Most Americans have no idea what happened at WACO.

If we all hadn't just spent the last two years learning how the FBI concocted a fake story of "Russian collusion" to cover up spying on the Trump campaign the un-named FBI source who complained about "bulls--- theories that have no basis in reality" might get some sympathy.

But since the FBI embraced "bulls--- theories that have no basis in reality" a couple of years ago, they just have to accept how they are viewed now.
