Investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson fired back at Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren over a tweet memorializing the 2009 death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
Brown’s death on August 9, 2009, at the hands of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, sparked nationwide protests as the public seized on later-debunked claims that Brown had thrown up his hands in surrender prior to Wilson shooting him.

The Daily Caller is displaying some ignorance here. Neither Warren nor Atkinson said this happened in 2009. That comes from the Daily Caller.
Michael Brown had his hands raised above his head, not in surrender, but as part of a bear-like charge at the police officer, intending to slam the officer to the ground. An impartial and detailed reading of the autopsy report indicates the entry wounds were on the VENTRAL side, which means the FRONT, facing the officer, and not in the back, as claimed by some ignorant and highly partisan accounts.
Taking away Michael Brown’s credit card would not have stopped THAT charge. He meant harm to the officer.

It’s simple, the left has chosen to believe “their truth” which almost always tends to be unsupported by the “facts”
And yet the Black Lives (lies) Matter movement sprang a least in part from this event, and Obama fanned the flames as it did.
The Martin case may be where BLM sprang from initially, but this one put it on the map, as it’s people gathered from across the nation, looted, and sacked the business in the area.
And people say Trump caused racial strife. Idiots.
It was Obama to defended the Black youth pounding another man’s head into the cement.
It was Obama who was sympathetic to Brown.
And lest we forget, it was his rhetoric about bringing a gun to an event that was also focused on Blacks.
Obama was a race baiting a__hole. Not one word about it from the Left either.
I remember the St. Trayvon pics were of his younger self.

That is exactly my take. It's anecdotal but some of the polls I read, while clearly slanted to show one of the Dem candidate winning, still reveal internals that show Black and Hispanic support for Trump on the rise. It was after those polls came out (the ones showing Bernie and Biden both beating Trump) that the Dems started to ramp up their racist rhetoric.
It is a long way from election time. Trump has plenty of runway left while the Dems appear to have shot their best weapons way too early. They can't come back from "racist" and start to debate policy - what, debate with a racist?!? And this is their ultimate strategic failing. They can't come back from unhinged.

Remember the death of heroin dealer Freddie Gray in Maryland? No riots until a week later. Why? Because the people living there could care less about a heroin dealer being removed from their neighborhood.
It was only until B.Hussein sent in his agitators that shipped in outside thugs did it happen, and that took a week. The man is a POS. And to top it off, he had state attorney Marilyn Mosby encouraging them "We stand with you!" and people living their lost their homes and in one black womans case I read, the place where she worked was burned down, her car was burned and destroyed and her apartment was burned and destroyed. I wonder if she still votes democrat.
And that kind of stuff won’t be tolerated, either.
It was another case of stacking an armed man like Trayvon Martin did, you should expect to get shot.
