US Attorney General William Barr is “livid” that Jeffrey Epstein was apparently able to kill himself in a high-security federal penitentiary in Manhattan, according to a report on Saturday.
Barr is “determined to get to the bottom of this,” a source told ABC 7, as the Bureau of Prisons announced that the FBI has launched an investigation into the apparent suicide of the convicted sex offender.
The stunning developments come a day after a trove of newly unsealed documents implicated a number of powerful people in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking ring.
“The FBI is investigating the incident,” said the bureau.
The BOP statement said that the disgraced financier, who was charged last month with trafficking girls for sex, was found unresponsive in his cell around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

A suicide on your watch is a HUGE faux pas for a BOP employee. Whoever that is is in deep doo doo...including the chain of command.

I suspect that the civil lawsuit discovery will continue so that the underage women suing can continue to litigate the estate of Epstein. What will be interesting is if the estate is able to shut the litigation down without further discovery.
My hope is that there is physical evidence (in the form of photos or recordings) of some of the prominent figures. It is interesting that both Gov Richardson (close Clinton adviser) and Senator Mitchel (close adviser to Clinton and Obama) were prominent Democrats named over the weekend. Since Diane Feinstein’s husband was a close financial investor with Epstein, I wonder about his involvement.
Hopefully, the truth will come out.
This is why I wanted to see Giuliani have a crack at prosecuting this. He’s the man that broke the mob, and we’re dealing with a very similar situation - the DNC, Clintons, and everything surrounding both behave exactly like the mafia, up to and including having made men and blatant daylight murders of those who cross the family.

Guess that all depends on how one defines “suicide watch”.
To most, we would assume that it means “beware that the subject does NOT try to commit suicide or otherwise harm themselves”.
However, I think the truer/actual definition is “Make sure the subject ‘does it right’ this time. We cannot afford this person going to trial.”
Epstein had already made one attempt, any reason that he would not try again?

BREAKING: James Comey’s daughter, the Assistant United States Attorney handling the Epstein case, has announced at a press conference that “no reasonable prosecutor” who wishes to have a long and successful career would pursue this case any further in light of Mr. Epstein’s death and has closed the file on the entire matter.
