I came to this thread expecting to read about how we should start killing people over the border, knowing damn well that isn’t going to happen no matter how many of the border patrol are injured or killed. I wasn’t disappointed.

How many of the rodents did the patrol kill?

Except for the patrol escaping uninjured, no other info is of consequence...

If no rodents were shot at then these patrol guys were probably trained by the Navy to do the Naval “duck and cower” that has been perfected in the past few years...

Shoot back, darn it! Collateral damage on the Mexican side would be a plus. Maybe the Democrats will call for gun confiscation from Mexicans (I can dream, can’t I?)!

“The boat was hit several times but no one on board was injured,” Border Patrol announced on Friday.”

Was anyone on board armed?

Fronton, Texas.

Border Wall construction is to start there next month.

The contract was awarded to Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. at the end of May, and the environmental waivers were issued last month. It is funded with 2019 appropriations, so no lawsuit problems.

I guess there were bad guys there after all, and it wasn’t just the President’s imagination.

"Why are the bad guys not dead? They fired on US marines right?"

I think that's a water patrol unit of the border patrol, not the US Marines. But still, our guys should be allowed to fight back. It's how India protects their border with Bangladesh.

“The boat was hit several times but no one on board was injured,” Border Patrol announced on Friday.” Was anyone on any board armed?

It bothers me that the Border Patrol operates under worse rules of engagement than regular police. If anybody fires on regular police, they will instantly return fire with everything they have. Border Patrol should be allowed to do likewise.

If they would put up a few predator drones and use them I’m sure we could slow down the production and distribution

Strongest nation on Earth takes crap from Mexican thugs. Pathetic. We should have Apache’s helos and A10s in the air and take out these thugs.

FWIW under Bush every gun was tracked, Mexican authorities were informed and involved in every step, American agents were allowed to cross the border, American agents stationed in Mexico were informed and involved and they didn’t lose many if any guns. That program was closed entirely for lack of success before he left office.

Fast and Furious was an entirely separate operation.

I have no fond memories of GWB but those are the facts.
