NEVER HIRE A MUSLIM: A Muslim sympathizer gives you several reasons why
AUGUST 7, 2019 BY BARENAKEDISLAM
If for some misguided politically correct reason, you want to be more inclusive of Muslims within your community or organization, here are some specific suggestions you could implement in your workplace. (FYI: If you do hire a Muslim, many of these so-called suggestions will become demands)
WralTechwire by Rick Smith August 7, 2019 Editors note: Jess Porta is Director of HQ Raleigh. This is the second of two stories about Islam in the Triangle.
Prayer Space
Muslims must pray five times per day during certain windows of time. This means that during any shift, there is likely a need for your Muslim colleague or employee to pray. Consider creating a space for prayer. It does not have to be a large amount of space and it doesnt have to be only for one use. Even a lockable office would do. HQs Wellness rooms are primarily for new moms, but are also available for members who practice prayer or meditation during the work day.
Holiday Time
Its no secret that some of our national holidays (the days you typically have off of work) in the US overlap with Christian holidays, so for most people, this is convenient time off. (No, I am not declaring a war on Christmas or saying you should cancel Easter). Im simply suggesting that in addition to national holidays, you can offer floating or flex days to all of your employees of all faith backgrounds to use them as they choose. So that way, people of other faiths enjoy their respective holidays as fully as possible.
Halal Food Options
Most Muslims follow a Halal diet (an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted). Islam permits most foods the notable exceptions being alcohol and pork. The Halal diet requires meat to be prepared a specific way, and these days Halal meat options are readily available in grocery stores across the country. So when you are ordering food for that company picnic, consider exploring Halal food sources or provide some vegetarian options to be safe. Non-alcoholic options at work events would be considerate as well.
Fasting
Most Muslims fast during Ramadan, meaning that they do not drink or eat anything during from dawn to sunset. So if you notice your Muslim friends getting a little hungry in May (Ramadan follows the Islamic lunar calendar, and for the next few years, it will fall around May but will eventually shift back toward April and March), just show some compassion and understanding. You dont have to totally understand why someone would not eat or drink for 16 hours (I struggle with going 2 hours!) but you can certainly show respect and empathy.
Contact & Personal Space
You may find that Muslim colleagues or employees are less forthcoming in physical interactions with people of opposite genders. Interaction greater than a handshake may be too much (but I would go ahead and argue that that should be the standard in most work environments, so if you have issues with this one you may need to revisit your HR policies). And listen, you do not have to go out of your way to avoid making contact with someone, and if you did go in for that hug on accident, most Muslims would not be offended.
Ask questions & dont pretend there are not differences
It is really okay to ask about differences. Muslims welcome the questions and discussions. Its also okay to acknowledge that there are differences in the room. Equity is not pretending that people are the same, but acknowledging differences and treating others with respect.
Respect without understanding
This is a tough one to genuinely carry out, even for those of us who are open to cultural differences and norms. You dont have to understand WHY someone is doing something. As long as it is not harming others, you just have to respect them.
They will lie and steal from you without any remorse, you are kaffir and less than cattle to them. You are infidels and exist to be exploited.
Never elect them either.
I read where, in a WalMart-type of environment, they demanded a separate microwave because the infidels heated up pork sandwiches, etc. in the one provided.
The same could be said for hiring virtually anyone these days. And who in their right mind would hire a teacher???
This issue is more about socialism more than anything else.
I know many industrious Muslims that run circles around the average jackass.
I do not have to respect anyone, they have to earn it.
I do understand Islam, that is why I have no respect for them, or Charles Manson.
Evil is as evil does.

When someone tells you they want to kill you, you’d better believe it.
5 reasons
Why Muslims Want To Kill Us
https://compass.org/article-why-muslims-want-to-kill-us/
Recently we had an applicant for a position we have open who was obviously of middle eastern decent, and almost certainly muslim - we didn’t ask, he didn’t offer. In spite of a very impressive if slightly odd resume, he did not interview well over the phone. Even so, in order to fill interview quotas, he was invited for an in-person interview. I was against this, telling HR he was not a viable candidate but... He ended up being so one-way, so dead set that things had to go *his* way rather than the way every other in-person interview has gone for the last decade or more...he blew it off. Good riddance. I shudder to think how difficult he would have been to actually work with. Actually no, I’m pretty sure he would have been impossible to work with.
> Muslims welcome the questions and discussions.
All of them? Sounds like a stereotype to me.
With me, you are preaching to the choir, Lucy.
Ditto!
What you might be considering less is that NOBODY is living a Mohammed-grade version of the thing, and that everything livable that is called Islam has been expurgated at least a little.
Ordinary Christian enlightened canons of decency can apply and will sift out the worst “Islamic” believers on grounds that have nothing to do with religion. Ramadan is a business challenge, but if the person has reasonable privacy, he or she may well eat anyhow on the QT (and still join in the evening feasts). I’ve met a number of people claiming Islam who were very reasonable people and didn’t use Islam to beat on other people with.
Gee, I wonder how long those prayers last? Could I, as a Christian get, say, five 10 minute breaks a day to pray or do a crossword? I think not.
Or worse they will behead your employees. Remember the woman from Oklahoma I believe, was beheaded by a muslim employee.
He was ultimately killed after the owner was able to shoot him.
bump
I have met people who as a family would eat in each others houses for years, until the Imam declared intifada. Then the next meeting the Muslims apologised and burned the mom and dad alive. Their son could not make it that evening, that’s why I know about it.
Murder is their call to Paradise, they willingly choose that religion. I had Palistinian friends, but would never loose my situational awareness around them. That is why I can tell you this story. Was a little scared a couple of times when the veil slipped.
Just a suggestion, if your Muslim friends ever ask you to become a Muslim, say you are undecided and want to think about it. AND NEVER GO BACK. For if you say no, they are honor bound to kill you.
Well, there’s always that danger of the appeal to the old tyme religion (much worse than where they were before, but still not Mohammed grade). Granted.
If I ever got asked to be a Muslim, I’d turn Christianity’s bible approach on them. Not no. But why? Get them to explain what it’s doing for them. Hey I am all ears, tell me your testimonies! It’ll eventually surface that they got bullied into it... which is the royal opportunity to unveil Jesus.
And... that’s a bullies’ paradise.
Time to set up a small cubicle hibachi during ramadanadingdong.
I have never trusted or liked Muzzies, never will.
