According to the Fairfax County Police Department, there is a man with weapon at the USA Today office in McLean, VA. They are advising the public to avoid the area. Please check here for continued updates.
Background/underground attempts to create civil war via gradually increasing multiple copy cats.
“A Philly cheesesteak wrapped in paper.”
These have to be outlaws:
Rocks
Bar of soap in a sock
2 handfuls of pennies in a sock
Any laptop lager than 14”
Metal lamp base
Wooden broom handle
Garden hose filled with sand
Any metal wrench longer than 6”
Aerosol can with flammable contents
Sharp wooden pencil
I Voted yesterday.
I Voted for Tate because the current Governor Endorsed him and he is also Endorsed by the NRA. He is also against expanding Obamacare. He will be in a runoff in two weeks against Waller.
Someone here said Tate is a RINO, so I will be doing a little more research on his record before the Runoff.
I’m not that Familiar with MS Politics, especially where we live in Adams County, but this area went for Hillary 65% to 35% for Trump. None of the Local Offices have a Republican running for them.
I was told everyone Votes Democrat in the Primary so they have a voice in Local Politics. Many running Democrat are actually Conservative, but they wouldn’t have a chance running as Republicans.
In MS you don’t Register by Party. In the Primary you ask for either a Rat or Republican Ballot. The two Black Ladies at the Republican Table looked a little lonely when I got there so I perked them up when I walked up. LOL
Agreed...
But, the local sheriff can “re-interpret” that law for reasons of short-term public safety.
At least, that was my conclusion.
“please show me the code and arrest me or write me the ticket then”. “And please sir, if not... may I have one of your cards? I know you are required to give me one if I ask, thank you”.
Situations change when you ask for their card when they are “making up laws that don’t exist as they go”.
A territory that is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid.
Mistaken report of weapon. Lots of wet chonies. Film at 11.
Kristallnacht?
I have been arrested twice, and written tickets four times for possession of burglary tools. Each time I was driving a business big rig service truck with the tools needed to do my job including “lock outs”. Once again “officer’s discretion” is not always based on a minimum IQ average.
From USA Today: ‘No evidence of any acts of violence.’
Redundancies wouldn’t be announced til after the sale transaction is approved, months from now.
Here is what transpired:
Note that Michigan is (ostensibly) an open carry State.
A public park was reserved by a vendor (permit) for a money-making venture. This venture was open to the public for a fee. The vendor, as part of their contract with the City/County, requested LEO presence to disallow “weapons” into the venue.
The day before this park became an “entertainment venue” all sort of “weapons” were allowed. I was stopped and my pocket-knife was disallowed PRIOR to contracting with the vendor to enter the public park/entertainment venue. NOTE: Before stepping into line to buy a ticket, my pocket knife was completely legal under the Laws of the State.
Now, we can all see violations of the 5th, 4th and 2nd Amendments let alone the vendor being allowed to usurp the State (and US) Constitution and use (pay) the Sheriff’s department to do it.
Sorry....just didn’t have the time to play their silly game. I took the knife back to my car. Not a hill to fall on, for me.
Social contagion is how these incidents are provoked.
No direct contact with a shooter is required. Just intense broadcast messaging and passing suggestions to the right circles.
Marginal individuals hear and respond to those suggestions. And each publicized response lowers the threshold of messaging needed to provoke the next response.
A variation of mass-market and directed channel advertising is how it can be done. And, yes, I believe that members of the "Deep State" are actively engaged in such things.
Drudge is an Idiot.
False alarm.
Could be LEO. Every alphabet agency is in DC.
Yes a weapon. Probably he has a fountain pen. The pen is mightier than the sword.
USA Today cant withstand a man with a pen.
