Fox's Tucker Carlson is being roundly criticized for claiming that America's white supremacy problem "is a hoax."
It's "just like the Russia hoax," he told his viewers on Tuesday night. "It's a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power."
This nonsensical claim came after several days of scrutiny of the El Paso suspect's racist views and the forces that may have radicalized him. News outlets have pointed out that some of the anti-immigrant "invasion" language in the manifesto published online shortly before the attack mirrors what is frequently heard on far-right-wing talk shows and websites. And many prominent politicians have warned about the growing threat of white nationalist violence.
Carlson responded in a monologue on Tuesday night. He asserted that "the whole thing is a lie." And he downplayed the threat by saying it's "actually not a real problem in America. The combined membership of every white supremacist organization in this country would be able to fit inside a college football stadium."

I’d b willing to bet there are more Bengal Tigers in people’s living rooms than there are White Supremacists.
Recall that the Nazis initially targeted Jews by depicting them as powerful bankers, financiers and owners of department stores, thus stoking resentment among ordinary Germans.
Now, white men in America are depicted as unfairly rich, powerful, and privileged, thus stoking resentment among minorities and leftists.
Yet we’re supposed to turn in our guns.
I’m with Tucker on this one. Recent attacks have had the hallmarks of a false flag. Leftist Democrat antifa types were the shooters, antifa made threats against El Paso specifically in the weeks leading up to the library event. Democrats ran to the cameras with the SAME pre-coordinated talking points. The 8 Chan website was taken down and the CEO says the El Paso shooter did NOT upload his manifesto to 8 Chan; someone else did. All too coincidental and with events like this, it is foolish to believe in coincidences.
Do you actually believe that such a belief is white supremacist?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is the purpose of the narrative.
To make it impossible to defend our sovereignty and our history.
That was the purpose of the Charlottesville play they produced.
I live in rural, central Alabama. This is right in the heart of the Civil Rights march area. I don’t know of any white supremacists’. The klan is gone. If there was a problem with these sorts of people I can assure you I would know about it. We actually get along pretty well down here.
Twitter ran a bot campaign against him all last night over this. Totally nuts
The issue is culture. Americans want to preserve their way of life that has brought great good to all. It is a superior culture because of its achievement and success. Central to American culture is Capitalism which is what the Marxists want to destroy. By labeling American culture as "white supremacy" is how, through the Alinsky Method, they attack Capitalism.
Well said.
My observations for 31 years as a naturalized US citizen:
1. There are no laws, rules, regulations, etc. making one or more races preferential to others.
2. There are policies (mostly government ones, but also many policies at the private companies) preferentially treating members of social groups subjected to racial abuse in the past (African Americans).
3. Personally, I haven’t met a single person expressing racial views during my 30-years career at six major private companies and in my social life living in several states.
4. I am sure there are people in the US hiding their racial views, but they have no venues to express them and, therefore, have no political or societal influence in the country. Statistically, they don’t exist.
5. The racial and other divisions are being inflamed by politicians (Democrat) trying to gain more electoral votes.
6. The myth of “white supremacy” is a laughable issue (see above).
Id be willing to bet that there are more potential jihadists in the US than there are white supremacists.
YEp. And I’d be willing to bet their are 1000x more potential jihadists in the US than nutjob “white supremacists.”
Besides the lefts need to quickly jump from the failed Russian hoax to another narrative, they are also experts at changing the language. When they say racist or white supremacy, what they really mean is anyone or anything that goes against their leftist agenda. And the media is happy to carry that water for them to their ignorant followers.
Climate Change - Hoax
Russian Collusion - Hoax
Russian Obstruction - Hoax
White Supremecy - Hoax
The left is full of crap.
Totally agree.
I am no spring chicken. Been around the block more than care to say. Knew a lot of crazies, from many different races, and even lived in so called places many don’t go. But have never encountered of heard of anyone being treated differently because they weren’t white.
Carlson is 100% correct. If this was true should we not begin to link words like Black supremacy, or Muslim supremacy, or Hispanic supremacy, or Mexican supremacy, or Spanish supremacy, or German supremacy which would be much closer to the truth.
White supremacy is a term made up by liberals, Democrats and Hate groups who wish to destroy America. Liberal supremacy or Democrat supremacy or Hate group supremacy really does exist and should be destroyed.
I remember way back when Jeraldo? ( whorealdo)?, (that fake news clown,) used to do special reports during sweeps week, on the clan, or neo-nazis, even going to clan rallys way back when, and there would be 6-8 dudes in Clan outfits and that was it.
The entire thing is a blatant straw man, fake news construct.
Tucker Carlson is spot on...pay attention. By the way if any of you bought into climate-change, you've.......
Yawn... yak... yak... yak... all this name calling by the left is boring.
I doubt it. They’re generally too busy tossing out insults to do anything remotely intellectual on the topic.
Mr. Carlson has made an excellent point, and for what it’s worth it should be treated as just that: a hoax.
Still, what do we do about it and how can we stop the nonsense?
Kudos to TC for framing it in those terms. You know he’s right just by the reaction of the left.
Democrat SOP. Wish more people would call them on it.
