If only we were more like the Canadians.
Gunshots rang out on street corners, in nightclubs and at house parties across the city over the long weekend, injuring 15, Toronto police said Monday.
The 14th and 15th victims were shot Monday afternoon in the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood. A man was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, according to police. Another person later arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound.
It was the 12th shooting incident police responded to in the span of three days. The incidents do not appear to be connected, Chief Saunders said.
Early Monday morning, Toronto police responded to a shooting at the District 45 nightclub in North York, where five people were shot. Gunshots erupted inside the busy venue just before 2 a.m., causing people to flee the scene in a panic, police said. Shell casings have also been recovered outside the club. Chief Saunders urged anyone with information on the shooting to contact police.
More than 350 people have been shot in Toronto this year. By this time in 2018, 318 people had been shot in the city according to Toronto Police numbers.
If the trend continues, this will be the fourth year in a row that gun violence has increased in the city. In 2018, 613 people were shot in Toronto in 428 separate incidents.
Gun control works very well. It doesn't stop criminals from getting guns. But it does a fantastic job of preventing ordinary people from being able to defend themselves. Islamic terrorists and gangsters don't seem to be deterred by gun control, but it makes proggies feel better.

A 20-year-old man is facing dozens of charges, including seven counts of attempted murder, in what police describe as a string of unprovoked, random shootings in Toronto that narrowly missed being fatal.
Toronto police said Tuesday that the man, who is in custody, allegedly worked his way through neighbourhoods in the northwest corner of the city over the past two weeks, opening fire on a total of seven victims ranging in age from four to 47.
Mr. Abdi is of Somali origin. And gun control didn't see to deter him either.
Gun control is amazingly illogical and it annoys me that the GOP doesn't dismiss the entire concept. They keep caving in small ways so it seems like they care. That's dumb. We need more guns in more places. Less gun control will save lives.

Both parties want a docile population, easy to control. One party simply raises a lot of money pretending to oppose gun control; it is as simple as that. They do the same with abortion, “gay marriage”, ObamaCare, illegal immigration/open borders - when they have the power to change these things, they don’t/won’t.
The Republocrats are staging a theater production for us little people, and Donald Trump threw a wrench in the works.

Remember Paul Ryan running to the cameras within minutes of the Bernie Supporter shooting up a Republican baseball practice. Ryan wanted to assure democrats that we didn't hold them responsible in anyway... What an effing jerk... Not one democrat is even capable of feeling guilt.
