This is a very bad idea and is unconstitutional. Our founders went to great lengths with the Constitution and Bill of Rights to prevent this kind of tyranny.
Socialist Russia, National Socialist Germany, among other totalitarian regimes implemented these nightmarish measures. Neighbors ratting on neighbors, children ratting on parents, etc.

I believe Stalin even introduced a quota system. If you didn't report your quota, then you were considered an enemy of state and you were sent to the Gulags yourself.

Or high school or college students or suspicious neighbors want to make a call to turn a nerdy guy in who never makes friends ,as a mentally ill would-be school shooter? “We have to take these seriously in this violent climate today.”

They are obviously after guns,this would just be the first step. With deep state controlling the govt and the media. It would be an easy step to take all guns.

I do not support ANY restriction or curtailment of the second amendment or any constitutional God given right. None. I am done with the incremental infringement on our rights. Done with it. I refuse to give in emotionally on any of it. Start enforcing current laws. Start looking into why psychiatric drugs are being distributed by doctors like candy. Start bringing MORALITY BACK TO OUR NATION. This is not just a mental health issue. It is a spiritual issue. Evil is real, and we have allowed evil to overtake this nation. Kids being raised by daycares, divorce, God kicked out of our schools, abortion on demand, materialism, gutter filth rap, earth worship, social media filth, sexualization of our children, homosexual pride and marriages, and on and on. We oir a reprobate nation. This is a symptom of it and you aren’t going to take away my God given right to preserve my life to pretend to fix it.
Had a bad experience which is somewhat relevant. Some wacko got mad at me for kicking his behind in an online game and called my local police and told them I was suicidal. Cops show up at the door. Apparently something about the way I reacted bothered them (Gee, could it have been the shock of cops showing up unannounced?), so they tell me I have no choice and we have to go to the hospital. Six hours of time in a tiny room later, I’m finally let go. The young woman who had to decide whether to let me go or hold me for the typical 72 hours was VERY reluctant to let me go despite the fact that I had no history and even correctly guessed who had called in the report. If I hadn’t been 100% on my game, I have no doubt I’d have lost at least three days of my liberty based on a total lie. And, of course, if he said I was homicidal, SWAT might have shown up, and there’s a chance I’d be dead. It can happen to any of us, folks.
Thank you for posting. I have been posting comments today about the slippery slide of red flagging. I am a big Trump supporter but cant just go along with everything that Linda Graham says is a good idea. Actually, he probably knows nothing will pass, and I think all they can do is incentivize States?
