These petty tyrants haven’t thought this through. Suppose they did use a SWAT team to break in and take a citizens guns. They have now made someone angry enough to take violent action against those who committed this crime and make no mistake; taking someone’s basic natural and God given right to self protection is definitely a crime. All the way from the person/people who ordered it to the people who act on it by choice because it would be an unlawful order to break and enter then kill or disable someone to steal their personal property.
How long would it take for all these people who were victims of the state to want justice in any way possible? What would that justice look like? I’m thinking when the sun rose one day; there would be dead politicians hanging from something tall. Then the next day; same thing until the crime of the state stealing your property ends and things go back to normal minus some heinous pols of course.
What’s even worse is this would turn the people against the police in a way the dems have never managed to do. That feeling of disgust and distrust would take decades to repair. How many people would want to wear the blue uniform knowing the public hates and distrusts them for acting like storm troopers on innocent law-abiding citizens? That trust they enjoy today might never return. Even worse, since the people would be treating them like the bad guys and enemy, chances are good they will start acting like that because they would be left with the type who enjoys that kind of insidious role in society.
Hopefully, if some dumbass pol does one day order this, there are enough thinking good people on the force to deny following that unlawful order. If fired for doing so then we would get that many more resistance/revolutionary fighters to take back our country from the heathens.

Here's how it's going to go down. There will be a buyback and then after that, the penalties for possessing a banned firearm will be so draconian, your life will be essentially ruined if you're caught with one. It'll be like getting busted with child porn. Go to prison for a long, long time and then the best job you'll ever hold after your release will be washing dishes in a Mexican restaurant. Lose your children, your home, your savings. You'll be sleeping under a bridge.
Think I'm wrong? Conservatives won't even punch in the face disrupters ringing cowbells and blowing whistles at events where conservatives are speaking and yet we're all going to somehow muster up the fortitude to shoot police officers?
