Police in El Paso, Texas, are responding Saturday to an active shooter in the area of the Cielo Vista Mall, the agency tweeted.
"Scene is still active," police wrote, adding, "avoid the area" around Hawkins and Gateway East boulevards.
At least three businesses in the area are on lockdown. Three Walmart employees took refuge at a Landry's Seafood house, restaurant manager Oscar Collazo told CNN. The women appeared "shook up" but not injured.
Landry's had already gone on lockdown, he said, but opened its doors when the employees ran there.

Funny thing about conspiracy theorists is they seem to think the only ‘deep state’ is ours. As if the spy services of Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Russia, Iran, China, etc., don’t do this stuff. ANSWER for example is backed by North Korea. The Dakota Access protesters were backed in part by Russia. The SDS and WUO backed by Cuba.
I think our biggest problem isn’t state actors ours or theirs but the godlessness and self idolization..

Police sources say a 2nd suspect was taken into custody but they aren’t sure if it was related to the shooting.
