US Military Jet Crashes Near Death Valley, California

A US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet crashed in western Death Valley in California's Inyo County Wednesday. The pilot's status is unknown. Local news reports that a search-and-rescue helicopter has been dispatched to the area from nearby Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.
Something is going on inside the military. I say it’s muslim infiltration.

Naval aviation is a high risk environment. This stuff happens. Prayers for the Naval Aviator involved.
Sounds like he was flying the Jedi Transition, a very low altitude navigation run in the desert. No room for error in those canyons.

Super Hornet from NAS Lemoore crashed in Star Wars Canyon flying the Jedi Transition. This occurred at @ 10:00 A.M. pacific time and right at the lookout point where people photograph aircraft going through the canyon at low level. There were observers on site hit by debris. This does not sound like a good outcome for the pilot and may have been a CFIT. Hopefully he ejected before impact but not likely. Prayers for the pilot. It is likely that someone on the ground filmed this accident. If you google search Jedi transition or Star Wars canyon you will find hundreds of videos over the years posted of low level passes through the canyon.

We had 3 cabins on the Klamath River between Weitchpec & Bluff Creek that was about 150 feet above the river and I was on the deck drinking a beer when two military jets were chasing one another up river and I waved at the second pilot. We sold the place in 93 so it was before that...
