Sitting on the crumbling porch of a small, boarded-up house where Malcolm X once lived, community activist Aaron Sims recalls Inkster as the place where African American workers on Henry Fords assembly line settled because they werent welcome in the nearby factory town of Dearborn.
Sims describes several years of fighting to save the dilapidated home where the civil rights leader lived during part of his formative years, shares his hopes of turning the modest property into a museum for his small, struggling suburb and talks proudly of twice casting his ballot for Barack Obama, the nations first black president.

No mention that voting Dem all these years has caused much of their hardship.
LBJs and the Democrats War on Poverty has destroyed every city, which were sold into the WOP by the democrat leaders in every city.
This War on Poverty was a new form of economic Slavery of black Americans living in the big cities, by the democrats.
The politicians in control of these cities have gotten rich while their cities became rat infested $hitholes with increased poverty for the citizens in these cities.

I apply unconventional logic to economic issues.
Has the War on Poverty been a failure? Well, of course it has. If you devote 50 years and $21.5 trillion (in 4Q2013 dollars) to anything, and people are arguing about whether it was a success or a failure, then you can be sure that it was a failure.
Have you noticed that, 50+ years from its inception, no one is suggesting that the Apollo program was a failure? The Apollo program was an unchallenged success because it accomplished its stated goal: to land a man on the moon, and to return him safely to the earth.
The stated goal of the War on Poverty, as enunciated by Lyndon Johnson on January 8, 1964, was,
not only to relieve the symptom of poverty, but to cure it and, above all, to prevent it. Measured against this objective, the War on Poverty has not just been a failure, it has been a catastrophe. It was supposed to help Americas poor become self-sufficient, and it has made them dependent and dysfunctional.
Now, the faithful inner city voters for Democrat mayors, governors and congre$$its for decades are being abandoned as the illegals are now the #1 priority to the Democrats!
Malcolm X knew that the democrats were using blacks and keeping them on the plantation as a voting bloc.
The Trib is good for this kind of thing. It’s a whole lot of talk about how the black community is still so disenfranchised, how they deserve reparations, how their neighborhoods are falling apart, and how there is slight disappointment regarding Democratic candidates and how they want to deal with those issues.
It’s sad. Nobody will be able to fix the root of the issue, which is community and family decay. Without acknowledging that, there is nothing that can be done in order to resolve the urban situations of poverty, addiction, and violence.
But we can’t talk about that, because it’s racist.
Not to mention the fact that when those who lean left run things, it’s usually into the ground, whereas when people of the right-leaning persuasion take over, there is generally improvement unless there is a lot of corruption involved.
The D primary in Michigan is usually a train wreck for the party. For one small anecdotal example, in 2016 I voted in the D part of the ballot and helped hand the victory to Bernie over Hitlery.
We cancelled our Trib subscription some time ago. First we dropped the daily delivery to just weekend delivery, because my wife liked the ads and coupons. Then we cancelled even that, so we are now Trib free.
You're stuck on stupid, pal. The first time we'll assume you were hypnotized. The second time was masochism on your part.
Thanks to President Trump, who is the first Republican to chip away at the natural fault lines within the democrat party, we now have black voters asking the right questions: what have their representatives done for them for the last 30-40 years?
“...and talks proudly of twice casting his ballot for Barack Obama, the nations first black president..”
Well, embrace the suck pilgrim.
The Democrats represent more rats than people
Since 1961. Thats how long the new national socialist democrat party of america has controlled DEEEtroit.
Don't leave the hotel after dark?
"Yes you will. Now get back on the plantation, slaves!"
"Yes, master."
Good title...descend on Detroit....like the locusts in Vegas
How ironic that identity politics robs people of their own identity.
Voting for a particular skin tone is shallow and boring.
And easily fooled with burnt cork and shoe polish.
"Don't know zhit from Shinola"
They are SURE of the Black vote, so they can forget about them.
Time to work on NEW votes, the illegals.
“No mention that voting Dem all these years has caused much of their hardship.”
