The parents of two transgender children have told how they supported them unconditionally, after they both decided to transition to the opposite sex from an early age.
Ben Faryna and Sara Kaplan, from Berkeley, California, welcomed a biological daughter and then a biological son, to their family.
But at the age of eight, James Kaplan, now 11, who was born a biological girl, realised he had to transition from female to male.
And just a few years later Olivia Kaplan, now 7, who was biologically born a boy, realised at 4 that she wanted to transition from male to female. Their names at birth have not been revealed.

As a Jew it pains me to say this. If they are Jewish, the name “Kaplan” means he is a descendant of the Kohanim (Kohens), the priestly class which presided over ceremonies in the Temple in Jerusalem. Kohanim are held to a much higher standard than most Jews. If they are Jews, and Kohanim, and committing the terrible sin of willfully depriving their children of the Torah command to be fruitful and multiply, they are headed for the very worst punishment in the world to come.
So true. The parents are closedminded, and they’re raising their children to be closedminded, with rigid definitions for “boy” and “girl” that have nothing to do with biology.
Were these minors born to them, or were they "adopted"? I wonder. Says they "welcomed them" to the family. What the heck does that mean?

Not exactly shocking how things turned out.
What would they gave done if their son, at age four, had decided that he was a cat?
In a sane world these two “parents” would be committed to a secure insane asylum and the children placed in foster care.
Ours came home from college with a nose ring. I said one sentence to her that to any prospective employer, it lowered her IQ by 50 points. Even though I’m a mean horrible parent who’s sole purpose is to ruin her life and she hates me, the ring immediately disappeared and so did the piercing hole.
It’s not a crime and that’s the problem. It needs to be a crime but there’s a powerful transgender lobby standing in the way. This horror needs to be shut down or else we will wind up with a generation of kids mutilated and rendered sterile.
God help us if the Democrats are ever in charge and have the opportunity to pass the “Equality Act” they’ve been condemning Trump for promising to veto.
