David Simon, creator of the HBO crime series The Wire, accidentally proved that President Trumps tweets about West Baltimore being dangerous were correct when he said Trump would wet himself if he actually visited West Baltimore for five minutes.
Like other liberals suffering from pathological Trump Derangement Syndrome, Simon accidentally dunked on himself yesterday while trying to dunk on Trump.

She (an African American from the district) says that Trump is not racist and thanks him for bringing this (the state of Cummings's district) up.
To paraphrase her words: Elijah hasn't done anything for us since he was first elected in 1967. He cares more about the people at the border than the people in his own district.
If you have NOT watched “The Wire”, I suggest that you do. At lease season 1. Quite an eye opener.
The wire is more than ten years old. Everyone should watch all five years and study the depth of the characters and plots. The Wir is Baltimore and America at it’s depraved worst
The wire was right on the money for five years and exposed so many ways Baltimore is rotten to the core.
I watched the first season and it was great, and yes Baltimore is a seedy place just from what I saw on that show.
The subsequent seasons were not as good as that first one.
My favorite song by The Blind Boys From Alabama, “Way Down in the Hole”.
White Libs wouldn’t DARE live, shop, school their brats in a BLACK HOOD
Interesting isn’t it, that in all the media and pol hand-wringing about “racism’ this is NEVER NOTED?

Elijah and his wife are uppity negroes on par with the congressional black caucus taking advantage of their own people instead off fixing their communities they represent. Im sure he and his wife live in a gated community far from the troubled areas
Yep, interesting to note.
As for Trump wetting his pants, I think any of us would be scared to death in the ghetto of West Baltimore. Heck, lotsa decent black people are scared to death to go there.
And as you note, the liberals are afraid to go into the ghetto.
This is too funny, this comment from the guy who created “The Wire” is trying to insult Trump, but ends up making the point of what a war zone/hell hole that area is.
If this empty-suit, race-hating fraud had to actually visit West Baltimore for five minutes and meet any of the American citizens who endure there, hed wet himself. https://t.co/QBSed1S4c8— David Simon (@AoDespair) July 27, 2019

Wow! Fantastic that you prove what the President said. Very sad that conditions are so bad. Maybe you should elect some Republicans who would improve your citys situation.— Hal L. Howell (@Halo9x) July 28, 2019
The predominately white areas of Baltimore county are not strewn with garbage and infested with rats. I know because I lived there. The problem is Baltimore city proper. There is a racial issue here but the poverty pimps in the Democrat party don’t want to touch it.
Elijah’s WIFE has a HUGE SCANDAL on her plate!
Years ago the Cooking Channel had a show based on this bakery on the west side of Baltimore. My daughter was a big fan and so we happened to be driving thru Baltimore, and I wanted to surprise her by stopping at the bakery. I made a wrong turn and accidentally found myself in one of these neighborhoods. A Baltimore police officer recognized I was out of place and got me turned around, escorted me out of my predicament, and pointed in the right direction to the bakery. Baltimore Police are the best. They just have very poor political leadership.
Decent black people live there but many are unable or unwilling to leave. North, south, east, or west, all the Baltimore slums pretty much suck. Of course it all bleeds out into the surrounding counties but the City of Baltimore is the head of the fish polluting every stream in every direction.
I tried to watch “The Wire”. No thanks.
I worked awhile down off 18th Street at an envelope company back around 2006. Pretty interesting neighborhood to say the least, and that wasn't even in the heart and soul of the mess.
Im getting the feeling Trump has hired an Ops Research firm that is directing him where to fire off his tweets. Last week the RATs were having to defend the gang of four; this week theyll have to defend the real RATs ... Lol !!!
Baltmore is an outrageously dangerous city. There are only a few places I would go that are somewhat safe, such the Harbor or Locust Point/Fort McHenry.
[snip] Some of it is easy enough to comprehend. Unlike any president since at least Jackson, he was elected by attacking the entire political class from right to left and practically all leaders of both parties and the parties themselves. He managed to stir up enough discontent to win the nomination of one of the parties and then got just enough votes in the right places to win the election. Since he had opposed everyone in both parties, they all opposed him, and the Republicans, almost as much as the Democrats, wanted to get rid of him. If there had been any truth at all to the gigantic fatuity about Trump-campaign collusion with Russia, there would have been bipartisan enthusiasm and relief in throwing him out of the White House like a large dead mouse.
Booker T. Washington nailed it, way back in 1911:
"There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."
The Corner was much better.
