Zhibin Zhou, a mechanics worker in Gabon, is flying to China for his annual vacation back to his hometown, Yancheng, a city about 3.5 hours from Shanghai by car. He works in Libreville—Gabon’s capital—for quarry owned by a businessman who is also from Yancheng. Every year, Zhou gets one-month off to visit his family back home. He’s taking a direct flight from Addis Ababa to Shanghai following his arrival from Libreville.
Ethiopian Airlines has only flown from Addis Ababa to Shanghai since 2014. When Zhou first came to Gabon in 2011, he boarded a flight in Beijing, flew to New Delhi, then Addis Ababa, then Douala in Cameroon, before taking the last leg to Libreville.
Times have changed. On an average day, eight direct flights operate between China and African nations, a huge increase from less than a decade ago: In 2010, airlines averaged less than one flight a day.

How many Africans are on those flights to China? (I bet very few).

That is because the Red Chinese are pouring their bombs, guns, food, and crap into Africa just as the Commie Red Russians did back in the day. The dictators of the African nations take that free stuff, especially the money, and line their pockets while their people live in dirt huts. Yup. Ain’t communism grand. Amerika is headed that way. Probably won’t take long to pull it off here. Thankfully I am running out of days to be on this earth. But, my Lord has provided a place for me much better than this sewer here on earth. One day soon, I shall enjoy the bliss of living in the New Jerusalem, not the old, rotting, Amerika, led by the socialist, communist, Dimocrats.
Amazing that China makes large donations to American universities to allow their students who probably work for the Chinese government access to higher ed and corporations

I doubt that will happen.
I made a trip to South Africa in 2018. What’ll I’ll generally say....the Chinese may think they have a winning strategy by pouring money into the region, and getting documents/treaties signed, but the general African attitude is to take your money, your assets, and eventually lay claim to whatever you built or created. It may take the Chinese twenty years to realize that you can’t win.
All the corruption will eventually crash in on itself, it always does.
The average Joe has no clue how much China has injected itself into America, economy, education, real estate and business.

I disagree. America is the real threat to America. We are brainwashing our kids and creating a snowflake culture.
While it is nice to be the biggest kid on the block, the more important thing is to be who you are meant to be. The U.S. has done a good job in many ways as the biggest kid, though not always a perfect job. On the whole, the U.S. was also a more virtuous nation when it assumed this role.

China is the largest nation on earth. China has been held back for a very very long time. China needs markets and africa is ideal.
We need not fear China, we must agressively compete.
Europe is in decline and will be surpassed bu those east of Suez thaat are ascendent. America is a Pacific rim nation and should pay less attention to Europe and more to the Gulf and Rim
It’s happening in Japan . White is no longer cool . Black is being pushed bigtime by the media / etc . There are quite a few mixed kids ( black fathers / Japanese moms ) who are bigtime sports stars and tv personalities . You hardly ever see a white man in a TV or internet commercial in Japan now , whereas when I came to Japan 30+ years ago that’s all you would see with regards to foreigners . You’ll see a lot of white women now , though .
Remember Julius Nyerere of Tanzania? Kicked the Chinese out after building a railroad for him. On the other hand a billion Chinese need a place to go.
