A “#WeAreBaltimore” hashtag surged to the top of Twitter’s trending items of Saturday in response to President Trump's comments attacking Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) as a “brutal bully” and his majority-black Baltimore district as a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”
As of Saturday night, the hashtag was used over 17,700 times.
The viral item came off the heels of a series of tweets Trump shared on Saturday, in which he railed against the congressman, who also chairs the House Oversight Committee, and his district, which includes downtown Baltimore.
“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous,” he said in the first of a series of tweets attacking the congresswoman and his majority-black district.
“His district is considered the Worst in the USA as proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded,” the president continued in another tweet.
“Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place.”
In response to the presidents attacks, thousands on Twitter, including prominent political figures and celebrities used the hashtag in solidarity with Baltimore citizens.
That's where the voters live.....and vote democrat 102% of the time.......Nobody knows how many “Rats” are in Baltimore..in the dumpsters or on the voting roles...
I don’t understand why people get so defensive about their home cities. Maybe it’s just a Chicagoan thing, but our city is a mess, and we know it. Baltimore is apparently worse off, so just suck it up and admit it. Life will become easier.

Another reason is the decidedly leftist tilt of the top management and many employees of Twitter. They seem to go out of their way to favor leftist opinions and posters. Their censorship algorithms and employees reviewing those issues seem to pick on conservative posters much more than leftists.
So the bias of Twitter itself also plays an important role.
It used to be the banks, real estate community and landlords would work together to keep most neighborhoods in good condition and safe. All of those sensible practices were denounced by DemoRATS as racist and made illegal. AND LOOK AT THE RESULTS!
We’re now in a situation where we should strongly consider walling off many major cities and strictly controlling who goes in or out. I never thought we’d need internal controls over movement inside our borders. But, thanks to the dims, it’s probably inevitable in some places.
People in groups tend to act like morons. Case in point.

Another pig who wouldn’t live in Baltimore except maybe in Upper Park Heights above the crime-line of Belvedere Avenue and Park Heights Avenue, but them again, she probably hates the Jews who have lived there for over 100 years so she’ll stay in whatever swank mental institution she calls home.
