One of George W. Bush's daughters panned President Trump after he criticized Rep. Elijah Cummings and called the Democrat's Baltimore-based district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."
Jenna Bush Hager, who is a co-host on Today with Hoda & Jenna, reacted to a clip of Baltimore-born CNN anchor Victor Blackwell tearing up as he defended his hometown.
"I taught in West Baltimore. I adore my kids, their parents, and grandparents. They all want the same thing I want for my kids: the chance for their children to have safe, happy and productive lives. Lets think about the language we use, who it hurts," the 37-year-old former first daughter said.

I took extreme exception with his chumming up with Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton. The whole “No Child Left Behind” endeavor, his refusal to stick up for Scooter Libby, his stance on immigration, and his persistent refusal to stand up for himself and let himself be a passive punching bag for the left were things that infuriated me.
I supported military action in the Middle East when it happened, and I still do in the context of when it happened and why, and I understand and respect people who feel differently about it than I do.
In retrospect, I would not support it. But for me, that is in retrospect.
i thought he was being a gentleman in not responding to the left’s provocation. I’m not sure about that now. But I still think he was the best choice for both 2000 and 2004.

Only if we wanted to grease the skids towards catastrophe. I admit that it crossed my mind a few times.
But mostly, I felt like I was fighting a rear-guard action, buying time, allowing less to get destroyed and hoping we would get someone who could push back the other way against Leftism, much the way Reagan pushed back the tide against Communism and mostly destroyed it.
Someone like Trump. That was who I was fighting that rear-guard action for.
