One of George W. Bush's daughters panned President Trump after he criticized Rep. Elijah Cummings and called the Democrat's Baltimore-based district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."
Jenna Bush Hager, who is a co-host on Today with Hoda & Jenna, reacted to a clip of Baltimore-born CNN anchor Victor Blackwell tearing up as he defended his hometown.
"I taught in West Baltimore. I adore my kids, their parents, and grandparents. They all want the same thing I want for my kids: the chance for their children to have safe, happy and productive lives. Lets think about the language we use, who it hurts," the 37-year-old former first daughter said.

Not hardly.
You cannot compare Trump to anything about the Bush presidency especially the relentless attacks from every direction directed at Trump on an hourly bases. From foreign leaders, celebrities, both beltway parties, the FBI, CIA, the U.S. and international media et al. In fact, Bush was treated like royalty compared to the onslaught of attacks targeting Trump. And I certainly don’t recall our top intel and law enforcement agencies, State Department etc, attacking and attempting to undermine, compromise and overthrow Trump.

Former President George W. Bush offered some muted criticism for President Donald Trump Monday during a wide-ranging interview on NBC's "Today" show that touched on Russia, the travel ban and the free press.
Bush said "we all need answers" regarding an investigation into reported ties between the Trump presidential campaign and the Russian government. But the former president stopped short of calling for a special prosecutor, saying instead that if Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr made the recommendation, "it would have a lot more credibility with me."
Bush was interviewed on NBC's "Today" show Monday, and was asked a series of questions about the performance of current President Donald Trump...

Trump was correct in reiterating what other’s have said about Baltimore.

She has a point there: John Kerry owes service men a big apology for starting the baby killer name calling of Vietnam Veterans. Hillary is especially evil. ...

GWB and Obama were the most sixteen disastrous years of recent American history. And I've a damned hard time determine which was the worse.
Without that fool "Dubya", Obama would have never come to the Oval Office.
And I'm just as infuriated with the Christians who worshiped that fool.

Jenna, he and our Constitution is letting you think about the language you use. So go ahead. Think. Think for yourself. Then think some more!

It seems as though Hoda has run away from the show, and my personal feeling is that is probably because she would have to deal with Jenna without wine. Is Hoda Kotb still missing from the show?

Odd how that morphed into a case of it being almost a capital offense on Free Republic to criticize Donald Trump.

Trump can be the King of Politeness and the media will still twist his words into something racist - just as they did to Jennas father. If anything, I think Trump is too restrained with jackasses like Cummings.

Why doesn’t the whole Bush family volunteer to be the first to go to Mars. The again, that would really mess up the neighborhood on Mars.
