Trump can be the King of Politeness and the media will still twist his words into something “racist” - just as they did to Jenna’s father. If anything, I think Trump is too restrained with jackasses like Cummings.
True... But I'd still like to see Trump add a "people", or sort of "quasi-populist" angle. That is, rather than attacking the entire district (easy to twist into an attack on its people), be clearly supportive and sympathetic to its people, as in: "This jackass has been taking advantage of good people in his district for twenty years, and for their trust in him they get rats and filth."
