Robert Mueller, in his current state, should not have been allowed to supervise the Russia collusion investigation. But the greater question is, how long has Robert Mueller been like this?
The regulation on the appointment of a Special Counsel.......regulation further provides that the Special Counsel’s responsibilities “shall take first precedence in their professional lives, and that it may be necessary to devote their full time to the investigation, depending on its complexity and the stage of the investigation.”
On July 24, 2019, Democrats staged vivid and irrefutable proof that the appointment of Robert Mueller came to violate these principles. Watching even a few minutes of the hearing testimony, it swiftly became apparent that the stammering and confused Robert Mueller lacked even a basic understanding of the underlying facts of the Russia collusion investigation.
How, for example, could anyone following the story not be familiar with Fusion GPS? It was clear that Mueller didn’t write the report as he seemed to read for the first time excerpts cited by interrogators. He didn’t know what was and was not in the report. He didn’t write his letter to AG Barr complaining about Barr’s summary of the underlying conclusions. He didn’t write his script in the May 2019 press conference. Mueller can’t keep his story straight about whether he would have indicted the president but for the Justice Department Policy prohibiting the indictment of a sitting president. He didn’t even know that one of his top attorneys who headed up the Papadopoulos investigation (Jeannie Rhee) actually represented Hillary Clinton in litigation over emails.
So I’ll ask this again: How long has he been like this?
Did Mueller’s mental acuity recently fail or was it evident at the point then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed him?

Mueller was a conservative Republican and was contaminated by working with a team of all radical left loonies. It’s contagious. It has already gone viral and hit most major cities and media centers.

Absolutely. The Democrats will call for another special counsel because Mueller was suffering from dementia.
I don’t put anything past them. The goal is to get rid of Trump.
He definitely doesn’t appear as vital as he did a year or 2 ago. He looked very tired, old....not how he appeared when this began. I told someone yesterday that I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an announcement in the next 6 months to year that he has dementia/Alzheimers. I don’t think they’d want the story to get out any sooner.
No it’s not so evident.
He’s a burnout or alzheimers case. He is only presented to the public when he’s lucid. He chooses public times.
Dementia can progress very quickly (months) or very slowly (years or decades).
It was a total act. Odd how he knew where he was, why he was there, what was required of him, the time, who was speaking to him (despite the squirrely huh, where?!?) and when to run down the clock.
That performance just won him a get out of jail card when this whole thing blows up.
I prognosticated that very same thing yesterday. We can congratulate ourselves in January.
He knew enough to choke on and finally spit out that he is “friends” with Comey.
I have no sympathy.
He may have had an undiagnosed minor strike. However, it was known that he did not want to “testify” before this bunch anyway, so perhaps he just took he easy way out by limping through it.
I don’t like him and I think he was as corrupt as he could get away with - that is, everything would emerge as a negative for Trump, whom he apparently hated. But even he couldn’t manufacture evidence, although it is clear the Dems wanted him to do that. He was under oath, btw, and thus liable for perjury.
