Celebrities react to Robert Mueller testimony: 'Obstruction all day long'
Fox News ^ | July 24 2019 | Tyler McCarthy

Outspoken Hollywood celebs had their social media accounts at the ready to tweet their opinions on Robert Mueller's testimony as the former special counsel appeared before two congressional hearings on Wednesday to discuss his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the campaign of President Trump.

"Who's the Boss" actress Alyssa Milano transcribed a give and take to make her point. "Lieu: 'The reason you did not indict Donald Trump was because of OLC opinion stating that you could not indict a sitting president, is that correct?' Mueller: 'Yes,'” she wrote.

Anti-Trump actor and activist John Cusack summed up the proceedings in just a few words: "Yup obstruction all day long - RT @joshtpm: This. Basically the whole thing."

Meanwhile, there’s still the fact that Trump could have fired Mueller any damn day he wanted to, they couldn’t have done squat about it.

You’d think John Cusack would learn not to drunk-tweet on twitter. Even if he’s just drunk on hate.

Mueller backpedaled on these remarks at the top of the second hearing of the day in front of the House Intelligence Committee, saying “I want to add one correction to my testimony this morning. I want to go back to one thing that was said this morning by Mr. Lieu, who said and I quote, ‘You didn’t charge the President because of the OLC opinion. That is not the correct way to say it. As we say in the report and as I said at the opening, we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime.”…

no surprise CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Lieu try to rewrite the above. Lieu knows what Mueller really really believes!

25 Jul: CNN: Ted Lieu: Mueller walked back obstruction answer to avoid calling Trump ‘a felon’
By Paul LeBlanc; CNN’s Evan Perez contributed to this report.
The Democratic congressman who asked former special counsel Robert Mueller if Justice Department guidance stopped him from indicting President Donald Trump says he thinks Mueller walked back his initial response because it amounted to labeling Trump “a felon in the White House.”
California Rep. Ted Lieu had asked Mueller if the Office of Legal Counsel guidance against indicting a sitting president was the reason he didn’t indict Trump. Mueller said that was “correct” at first. He later clarified, stating, “As we say in the report and as I said at the opening, we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime.”
Appearing on “Anderson Cooper 360,” Lieu said that he believes Mueller’s initial answer is “what he actually believes.”...

Today proved that President Trump would have been justified in firing Mueller for diminished capacity from such a high profile job.

The MAIN problem with “modern celebrities” is that they cannot find their toucas with both hands but have been catered to by toadies for so long that they have lost whatever knowledge/common sense that they once may have had.

SELF-IMPRESSED fools describes most of them.

I think this guess about how the leftists will play out the game from three days before the Muller hearing stands up rather well

Hollywood writ large, is your enemy, folks. I suggest you stop supporting them because they just use the money you give them to hurt you through advocating for and funding a totalitarian government that then comes after you.

To the extent that impeachment is a political rather than a legal matter, that is, if the Democrats succeed in wresting the process away from proving "treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors," they must persuade the people of the following on an emotional or political level.

From May of this year:

The essential problem for the Democrats remains what it was the instant the Muller Report was released: they must convince the American people that it was wrong for the president to protest being framed for a crime he did not commit.

They must convince the American people that it was the President's duty, indeed his only moral choice, to remain passive in the face of the criminalization of the American justice system of which he was the Chief Law Enforcement Officer.

They must convince the American people that Trump is guilty because he did what virtually every one of us would have done to protect ourselves.

They must convince the American people that Trump should be impeached for obstructing his own exoneration.

They must convince the American people that Trump should be impeached because "The President engaged in obstruction of INjustice" (hat tip to grey_whiskers for the last)

Lieu is a complete disgrace as well.

Check out his slam against Candace Owens in a CONgressional hearings recently.

What with all their drinking, drugging, fornicating/cheating
and scofflaw activities, and raping and exploiting each other, including children, when do these so- called celebrities have time to pay attention to politics?

The Hollywood IDIOTS cannot recognize the early signs of Alzheimer’s which Mueller displayed throughout his interview.
